In honor of the 10th Anniversary of the Bakweri Youths Association (BAYA), Biaka Hospital, in collaboration with the Dr. Biaka Memorial Foundation (DBMF), successfully conducted a two-day community outreach program providing:

✅ Free Testing: HIV, Syphilis, and Malaria.

✅ Dental Consultations: Expert advice for healthy smiles.

✅ Life-Saving Skills: Hands-on CPR training sessions.

This initiative reflects their core mission: promoting health awareness and ensuring that essential medical services reach the heart of our community.

The BAKWERI YOUTHS ASSOCIATION (BAYA) Shows Appreciation to COIC

A delegation from the Bakweri Youths Association (BAYA), led by President Samuel VEFONGE, recently handed over trash bins and a frame to the management of Cameroon Opportunity Industrialization Center (COIC) in appreciation for allowing BAYA to host its meetings at the institution for the past 10 years.

The gifts were received by the Chairman of the Board of COIC, Barr. LIFANJE Comas, who was at the Buea Council. He then asked the delegation to proceed to the OIC. At OIC, the BAYA delegation, which included Vice Chair of the organizing committee, Hon EPOSI Courage, Emeritus President Solo NJIE, and Tata EKEMA Njoku, met with Vice Chair of the COIC board, Mola LAMBE, and other board members and department heads.

Mola LAMBE, applauded the association's efforts and encouraged President VEFONGE to continue his good work, urging him not to give up.
