Empowering Communities through Clean Water and Sanitation

GLOBAL HEALTH EMPOWERMENT is making a difference in Bokwoango community! We're working towards achieving Sustainable Development Goal 6 (SDG 6) by cleaning the water catchment area, preventing waterborne diseases like cholera and typhoid. We're proud to collaborate with the students of FHS Buea on this initiative.

Why it matters:

- 2.2 billion people lack safely managed drinking water services
- 3.5 billion lack safely managed sanitation services
- Waterborne diseases claim millions of lives annually.

Our impact:

- Improved access to clean water for Bokwoango community
- Reduced risk of waterborne diseases
- Empowered community members to take charge of their health

Today, February 8, 2026, marks a significant milestone for our GLOBAL HEALTH EMPOWERMENT team as we gather to discuss our mission, vision, and strategies for making a positive impact in our community.

As we embark on this journey, we're excited to tackle key areas that will drive our success, including:

- Fundraising and branding: Raising money and printing t-shirts to represent our organization's commitment to health empowerment.
- Project launch: Preparing for our first project, which kicks off on February 10, 2026, and focuses on:
- Health education: Equipping communities with knowledge to make informed decisions about their health.
- Community sensitization: Raising awareness about various diseases and prevention strategies.
- Environmental hygiene and sanitation: Promoting healthy living environments and practices.
