On the 29th of April 2026, Hadassah Foundation carried out a sensitization talk on the prevention of sexual exploitation and assault at Foundation Nursery and Primary School.

Teaching children in primary school about boundaries, consent, and how to recognize unsafe situations helps protect them from sexual assault and exploitation. Age-appropriate education gives kids the confidence to speak up, seek help, and understand that their safety and voice matter.

Being able to recognize inappropriate behavior, and the importance of speaking up and seeking help from trusted adults is very crucial to young kids. Through interactive discussions and age-appropriate examples, the team emphasized personal safety, respect for one’s body, and the need to report any form of abuse. The activity was well received by both pupils and staff, contributing to ongoing efforts to promote a safe and protective environment for children.

International Women's Day 2026

Today, Hadassah Foundation, in collaboration with Aura Foundation and in partnership with AWEC, successfully organized a community outreach program in Limbe 2 to commemorate International Women’s Day.

The activity brought together women from the community for a moment of learning, reflection, and celebration. In line with this year’s spirit of empowering women, the session focused on women’s rights, mental health awareness, and discussions on how mental health connects to gender-based violence and personal wellbeing.

During the interactive session, women were encouraged to speak openly about their experiences, challenges, and lessons learned. The discussions created a safe space where participants could learn from one another and feel supported.
