Reach One Teach One — Every Child Counts! In times of crisis and non-crisis, we provide an enabling environment for children aged 4–17 and youth aged 18–35 to learn, grow and lead through access to quality education, active civic engagement, protection, WASH, basic healthcare, economic empowerment and environmental stewardship. Our main flagship programs include. Project GRACIH (Gra

ssroots Civic Hub): Promoting civic education, servant leadership and good governance from the classroom to the community by training student leaders, organizing civic awareness campaigns and facilitating voter registration. Project EDAS (End Drug Abuse in Schools): Building drug-free schools, healthy minds and responsible citizens by providing awareness campaigns, MHPSS support, life skills training and effective case management. Project SKIBEC (Skills Beyond the Classroom): Turning learners into job creators and social entrepreneurs by integrating formal education with vocational training. Project WATWA (Water Trucking and WASH Access): Ensuring that every child learns in a clean, safe and healthy school environment by providing water trucking, WASH access and hygiene support. Project ROGS (ROTO Green Schools): Transforming schools into clean, green and sustainable learning spaces through tree planting, waste sorting and school gardens. Our mission is to raise the next generation of leaders and provide an enabling environment for them to effectively reach back and champion change in their own communities. This approach is the backbone of our Reach One Teach One model. This model is used to deliver our services in Schools, Accelerated Learning Spaces, Temporary Learning Spaces, Child Friendly Spaces and Local Communities to making them safe havens for grassroots development. Dear youths, the same energy we, young people put into the presidential election must now be doubled for the upcoming municipal and parliamentary elections.

ELECAM is currently conducting voter registration and polling station reassignment but what are we, the youth, doing about it? How are we mobilizing our communities? How are we using social media to sensitize and educate other youth on this?

Municipal and parliamentary elections are grassroots elections with real impact on our daily lives. The councillors and parliamentarians elected come directly from our municipalities and constituencies. When we actively participate, we strengthen accountability, encourage responsible leadership and support the enactment and implementation of laws that truly benefit our communities.

As young Cameroonians, we must move beyond constant complaints and embrace active civic responsibility. Your voice matters. Your vote is your power.

Let us refocus: these elections should not only be about political parties but about credible, capable individuals committed to community development, regardless of political affiliation.

Best regards,
Project GRACIH (Grassroots Civic Hub)

🎙️ Civic Engagement from the Grassroots! 🇨🇲

Today, on CBS Radio Buea (FM 95.3 MHz), our Executive Director Cheh Valerie Tamukong joined host Mr. Kingsley Takang to discuss a timely topic:
👉 “How to raise civic awareness among youths amidst the distrust of civic institutions in Cameroon.”

Through Project GRACIH – Grassroots Civic Hub, REACH BACK continues to empower young Cameroonians to believe in active citizenship, rebuild civic trust and lead change from the classrooms to the communities.

Civic education is not just a subject, it’s a movement to shape responsible citizens and ethical leaders by modeling integrity and accountability. 🌍✨

Together, we can restore faith in governance and ensure that the next generation stands for integrity, participation and progress. Encouraging massive turn out, voting and protection of votes in the upcoming 2026 municipal and legislative elections.💪🏽🇨🇲

🇨🇲 A MESSAGE OF HOPE AND CIVIC DUTY TO FELLOW CAMEROONIANS.

Project GRACIH: Grassroots Civic Hub.
After the 2025 Presidential Elections

Fellow compatriots, brothers and sisters,

The October 12, 2025 presidential elections may have left many of us disappointed, questioning the fairness of the process and the sincerity of those who lead us. Yet, amid the silence of frustration and the dust of disillusionment, hope still breathes and that hope lies in our hands.

We, the people, have a second chance. A new opportunity to make our voices count is coming through the 2026 Municipal and Parliamentary Elections. This is our moment to rise again not with bitterness, but with renewed conviction and unity.

These upcoming elections are not merely about political parties they are about our communities, our livelihoods and our children’s future. This time, we are voting not for slogans not for party colors but for our people (the ones who live among us, feel our pain, share our challenges and work every day to make life better for our neighborhoods and villages).

Let us go beyond party loyalty and stand for true representation. Let us vote for councilors and parliamentarians who understand the daily struggles of our communities. Those who will defend water, roads, schools, healthcare and justice. Not those chasing personal or party rewards.

Let's Remember:
"At the municipal and parliamentary level, our votes have direct power. We can see the results in real time. We can protect the process. We can defend our ballots until the last count".

Let us therefore organize, mobilize and participate massively. Let every citizen, young or old, man or woman be vigilant on election day. Vote and stay until the votes are counted. Defend your will. Protect your polling station. Stand for your community.

It’s time to remind our so-called elites that their true allegiance is to the people, not to party masters or private interests. The power they hold comes from us, and it is to us they must remain accountable.

Fellow Cameroonians, it's clear the rebirth of our nation will not come from above, it will rise from below, from our communities, from our collective action, from the grassroots.

This is our moment to reset the mind of our nation and reclaim our civic dignity.

Let’s do it together.
Let’s do it peacefully.
Let’s do it powerfully.

🗳️📸 Over 100 Youth Voter Cards Distributed!
REACH BACK is thrilled to announce the safe arrival and distribution of ELECAM voter cards to dozens of Cameroonians across Likoko Membea, Bokwaongo and surrounding communities!

Despite threats from NSAGs, manipulation by some political actors and growing distrust in the system, our youth are choosing the ballot over bullets. Registration is still ongoing until the electorate is convened. Take this opportunity and register today. We are here for you.

🎯 Through our Civic Engagement Program, we:
✅ Assist with voter registration
✅ Ensure voter card collection
✅ Equip youths to act as whistleblowers against electoral fraud
✅ Empower political, civic and economic participation even in conflict zones

Let the 2025 elections be the turning point. Let the voices of the Anglophone regions echo loud and clear at the polls.
📢 Join us in standing for democracy and peace.

🌿 “I will care for it like my junior brother...” 💚

That was Enanga, a teary-eyed Class 5 pupil at G.S Likoko Membea, as she lovingly tagged her name on the soursop tree she had just planted. 🥹🌱

On 28 May and 03 June 2025, REACH BACK joined forces with MINEPDED SWR and fellow CSOs to guide students of GHS Buea and G.S Likoko Membea in planting fruit trees — Soursop, Pear, and Guava. Before planting, students learned the importance, benefits, and ownership of each tree.

From first-time planters to future green ambassadors, the testimonies say it all:

🗣️ “I thought tree planting was only for big people. Today, I feel it’s for me too.” – Wade, Class 6
🗣️ “I’ll plant soursop at home. Chai! It heals!” – Moki, Lower Sixth

Together, we’re not just planting trees — we're planting purpose.
