Mbong sat quietly at the back when we first arrived in Tole. She wasn’t the loudest, not the one raising her hand every minute. But her eyes… they followed everything.

When we introduced photography during the Inspire Creativity Program, something shifted. She held the camera like it mattered. Like it meant something. Within minutes, she wasn’t just taking pictures, he was seeing — angles, light, moments. The kind of awareness you don’t teach, you unlock.

By the end of the session, Mbong had a small crowd around her. Other kids asking how she did it. And for the first time, she wasn’t at the back anymore.

That’s what this work is about.

It’s not just teaching digital skills. It’s not just AI, photography, or video editing. It’s about helping a child discover something inside them they didn’t know was there. It’s about confidence, direction, and possibility.

Because when a child like Mbong starts to believe in what they can become, the future stops being something distant… and starts becoming something they can build.
