A Break That Became a Learning Experience

During our Inspire Creativity Limbe Edition on September 25th, learning did not stop when it was time for a break.

At the Limbe Zoological Garden, the pupils had the opportunity to step outside the learning space and explore the zoo under the guidance of the Zoo Head. They discovered different animals, asked questions, observed their surroundings and simply enjoyed being curious.

Sometimes, creativity is sparked in the most unexpected moments and areas.

A simple walk through a zoo can become a lesson in nature, observation, curiosity and discovery. And for us at

A Birthday. A Recognition. A Celebration of Innovation.

Today in Zanzibar, our Executive Director Mr Lyonga M Mbesa was honoured with the YOUTH INNOVATOR AWARD at the Tech & AI Expo 2026.

The recognition comes after an impactful Expo journey that saw him head the Hackathon Team, serve as a Panelist, and a speaker his countless innovative moves to push innovations across Africa through the Inspire creativity initiative , the creative hub and the Be Skillful and useful reachout training among many more initiatives spearheaded by him.

Today, on his birthday, he also had the honour of delivering the Closing Remarks, making this recognition even more meaningful.

At Inspire Creativity Limbe, Ben Edmonds reminded the pupils that anything is possible when we dare to dream, think differently and become problem solvers.

Working in groups, the pupils were challenged to identify a problem with Ben’s scattered work tools, think of solutions together, write down their ideas and transform those ideas into sketches and cardboard prototypes.

At Creative Corner Foundation, we believe collaboration should be introduced from an early age. We are helping children understand that it is okay to work with others, share ideas and build solutions together.

Because meaningful change is not an individual project. Change is a community project. And the communities we hope to build tomorrow begin with the children we empower today.

Our Executive Director, Lyonga M Mbesa , is currently in Zanzibar, where he is heading the Hackathon team at the ongoing Tech and AI Expo at SUZA.

The Hackathon brings together young innovators and technology enthusiasts for a hands on experience centred around creativity, collaboration, problem solving and innovation.

As the sessions continue, participants are developing ideas, exchanging knowledge and exploring what can be created when technology meets creativity.

From Cameroon to Zanzibar, Creative Leadership Takes the Global Stage.

Our Executive Director, Lyonga M Mbesa , will be speaking at the Tech & AI Expo Zanzibar 2026, taking place from 29 September to 1 October at Golden Tulip Airport Hotel, Zanzibar.

On Day One and Day Two, he will engage creatives, innovators and emerging talents on Brand Building & Content Creation, as well as Bridging Africa’s Digital Divide and Building a Talent Pipeline for Tomorrow.

At Creative Corner Foundation, we believe that creativity, technology and access to opportunities can shape the future of Africa.

We are proud to see our Executive Director carrying this conversation beyond Cameroon and contributing to a wider African platform for innovation and digital growth.

“Anything is possible.”

Yesterday at Inspire Creativity in Limbe, our keynote speaker, , shared a powerful message with the children about believing in their ideas, embracing possibilities, and understanding that their creativity can take them further than they imagine.

His words were a beautiful reminder that when young minds are given the right exposure, encouragement and opportunities, they can begin to see a world of possibilities.
