Expanding Access to Safe Learning in Cameroon!
HADY is helping restore education for children affected by the ongoing conflict in Cameroon's Southwest and Northwest regions.
Across 6 divisions and 11 sub-divisions, we monitored: • 23 constructed Temporary Learning Spaces • 25 constructed latrines • 56 established Learning centers in 56 communities in the Southwest region of Cameroon
These structures now serve thousands of out-of-school children in vulnerable communities.
To keep children safe, we have established community feedback mechanisms to monitor and report protection risks, including Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (SEA).
This work was made possible through collaboration with 2 protection partners, 2 education partners, 1 WASH partner and a Third-Party Monitor partner.
