The demand for change is rising from within our schools. Our team of facilitators continued the mission to turn classrooms into safe spaces where girls can learn, ask, and speak.

By bringing the 28 Days of Activism into schools, we are replacing fear with the power of informed agency.

Every classroom we reach is a victory against the silence. Be part of the difference.

Awareness is protection. Dignity is non-negotiable.

Yesterday, we took a step toward fortifying the people who stand on the front lines of this movement. Our activities focused on building a "wall of protection" through two critical training sessions:

- Empowering the Messengers: We began with an intensive training for our facilitators, bringing together the dedicated teams from Royalty World, DIBA HWC, and FAWOI.
- Strengthening Local Solutions: In Kombo, we conducted a practical training session with community tailors on reusable pad production. This is not just about sewing; it is about creating sustainable, community-led systems.

By training local tailors and equipping facilitators, we are moving from temporary aid to a community-owned movement that rises from within. One step at a time, we are building informed communities.

Awareness is protection. Dignity is non-negotiable.

We are glad to announce that Royalty World has been officially nominated for the Redvocate Awards 2026 by the International Menstrual Hygiene Coalition (IMHC). This nomination recognizes our dedication to youth empowerment, education, leadership, community development, and humanitarian action across Cameroon.

This nomination belongs to every community gatekeeper who has opened a door, every father who has stood up for his daughter, and every girl who has found the courage to speak up.

We look forward to joining the IMHC on 24th May 2026 at Hilton Yaoundé for the Redvocate Awards & Red Charity Fundraiser. As we celebrate this recognition, we remain more focused than ever on our mission.

How many girls are walking into adulthood without the vocabulary to describe their own bodies? In our communities, we often treat "education" as something that only happens in a classroom. But there is a deeper, more vital education that we have neglected: the knowledge of one’s own health, rights, and physical self.

A girl who is taught that her body is her own, and that its functions are natural and dignified, is a girl who is better equipped to recognize danger and assert her boundaries. Awareness breaks the cycle of shame that leads to school absenteeism.

This May, through the 28 Days of Activism, we are choosing to replace taboos with tools and silence with strength.

Awareness is the ultimate protection. Support our movement to ensure that every girl is armed with the knowledge she deserves.

Awareness is protection. Dignity is non-negotiable.

When we see an empty desk in a classroom in the Northwest or Southwest, we often think of the conflict. But there is another, quieter reason for that empty chair. Today, we listened to students share the stories we have been taught to ignore: the stories of their first periods and the many days of school they miss because they simply do not have the knowledge, the pads, or the support to stay.

How many girls are growing up without the voice they deserve? Every day a girl spends away from school is a day she is pushed further into the shadows. This is not just about a biological process; it is about a system of silence that leaves our children exposed, physically and socially.

Through our Dignity Boxes and MHM Clubs, we are ensuring these desks are never empty again. We are building safe spaces where girls can learn, ask, and grow into protected young women.

Do not let their voices fall back into silence. Support the 28 Days of Activism to fund the change.

Awareness is protection. Dignity is non-negotiable.

We often speak of Menstrual Health Management in broad, clinical terms. But behind the statistics are real girls in our communities facing a monthly crisis that we rarely name. When we ask, "What do girls in your community use during menstruation?" we aren't just asking about products. We are asking about survival.

In crisis-affected regions of Cameroon, where inflation and displacement have stripped families of their choices, the answer to this question is often heartbreaking.

This May, during the 28 Days of Activism, we are moving past the taboos. We are asking the hard questions so we can provide the right solutions, like our MHM Kits and the Dignity Boxes we are placing in schools.

Look around your community. Do you know what the girls in your neighborhood are using?

When we fail to talk to our children about their bodies, their boundaries, and their health, we aren't protecting them, we are leaving them exposed. A girl who is kept in the dark about her own development is a girl who lacks the tools to recognize danger or the confidence to speak up when her rights are crossed.

The 28 Days of Activism team continued the mission to replace fear with knowledge. Our facilitators were on the ground, moving from classrooms to the community to ensure that the "basic" issue of Menstrual Health Management (MHM) is recognized for what it truly is: the entry point to Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR).

Sensitization is more than just a lecture, it is a shield. As we continue to reach more schools and more hearts, we invite you to stand with us.

Awareness is protection. Dignity is non-negotiable.

When we talk about a "system of silence," we often forget that the silence is being forced upon our girls. The moment a crack appears in that wall of silence, the demand for light rushes in.

Yesterday, a combined team of dedicated facilitators from Royalty World, DIBA HWC, and FAWOI set out to reach 28,000 voices. What happened next was a testament to the urgency of this movement:

We initially scheduled a set number of schools, but the response was overwhelming given that, the schools that were not even on our initial list saw the movement and requested, no!! demanded immediate sensitization. We reached 6 schools in total.

Every school that opens its doors to Menstrual Health Management (MHM) is closing a door to vulnerability. By reaching these schools, we have provided hundreds of girls with the entry point to Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR). We have given them the vocabulary to understand their bodies and the confidence to recognize danger.

Awareness is protection. Dignity is non-negotiable.

We sat down with one of our community "Mamas" to hear the story of her first period and her thoughts on the world our girls are growing up in today in relation to menstruation and reproductive health.

Her story is a reminder that Menstrual Health Management (MHM) is the vital entry point to Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR).

When a mother breaks the silence with her daughter, she is giving her daughter the agency to own her body, the confidence to speak her truth, and the power to recognize danger before it strikes.

Awareness is protection. Dignity is non-negotiable.

Driving a period-friendly world through our 28 Days of Activism for MHM takes more than Royalty World alone.

We appreciate the partners who showed up today for the partners' meeting to build this with us.

Already, 8 organisations have joined the movement, supporting community and school sensitisation, intergenerational dialogues, and the MHM Conference on May 28 (Menstrual Hygiene Day)

We’re calling on more partners to step in and do more.

To those already on board, thank you.

Together, we lead the change. 🔴

Royalty World officially launched project activities in the Limbe I Council area with subvention support from GIZ. The inaugural activity was a stakeholder workshop, during which Royalty World was introduced to beneficiaries and key actors. The session also facilitated a participatory process through which beneficiaries identified and selected viable livelihood options to be implemented through cooperative structures.

The initiative falls under the GIZ PROSCIG subvention scheme, a framework designed to bolster the socio-economic resilience of GBV survivors through vocational training and the establishment of income-generating activities.

Royalty World's project is titled:

Restore Her Dignity: A Comprehensive Livelihood, Psychosocial & Resilience-Building Initiative for GBV Survivors in Crisis-Affected Communities — Limbe I, SW Cameroon."

This initiative reflects a strong alignment with Royalty World's core mission and organizational values.
