A thriving and prosperous community is grounded in strong family values and practices. Positive parenting environments help reinforce healthy family bonds and stronger more stable societies. Conversely, when families are broken, unstable, and unhealthy, children are the first to suffer, and then the community follows.

At Royalty World, we are committed to supporting communities transform from the inside-out, allowing for self-reliance and sustainability.
Our trained positive parenting facilitators are an extension of this mandate within the communities. They serve both as role models and educators helping to improve parental capacity, strengthen family ties, and eradicate violent parenting.

Localization in Action: Grassroots Peer Educator Sessions Across Target Quarters and Communities

Sustaining community impact requires active, continuous local leadership. Following the comprehensive capacity-building training on the life-skills manual, our adolescent peer educators are currently leading localized community sessions across their respective quarters and communities.

Operating across target communities and quarters, these young facilitators are applying key competencies in peer-to-peer facilitation, life-skills delivery, child protection, and community mobilization.

By decentralizing activities directly into individual quarters, we ensure broader reach, deeper engagement, and sustainable community ownership.

We commend our dedicated peer educators for their leadership, consistency, and commitment to shaping a safer, more empowered generation.

Following our training at the UNICEF office of 26 adolescent peer educators and 18 positive parenting across six Mile 16 communities, we officially launched the Peer Educator Inspiration Café, a monthly safe space for young people to connect, learn life skills, and lead community change!

The launch edition brought together trained peer educators and new youths for interactive life-skills games, dialogue, and peer mentorship under our vision of Transformational Endogenous Leadership.

We were honored to welcome the Deputy Country Representative of UNICEF to our office!

This high-level engagement provided a valuable platform to reflect on our shared milestones, evaluate ongoing joint interventions, and discuss strategic pathways to expand our reach for children, adolescents, and local communities.

During the visit, our team presented key progress updates on our grassroots programs, from life skills training and positive parenting initiatives to broader community empowerment efforts. The discussions underscored our mutual commitment to sustainability, local leadership, and high-impact programming.

Under the Royalty Education & Capacity Development (RECD) umbrella, Royalty World has engineered three interconnected pathways designed to address distinct levels of educational vulnerability;

1. Quality Early Education (RONAPS): Establishing foundational literacy and cognitive development early to ensure long-term academic success. (Target: 50 children enrolled this academic year)

2. Life-Changing Scholarships (RSP): Removing financial barriers for high-risk, vulnerable students to secure enrollment and retention. (Target: 75 scholars added by September 2026)

3. Engaging Remedial Classes: Bridging learning gaps for out-of-school children and displaced learners to reintegrate them effectively into formal schooling.

Our focus remains firmly on measurable outcomes. Through this integrated framework, we have already reached 70+ scholars through targeted programs over the past year and impacted over 375+ individuals through broader literacy and educational sensitization campaigns.

By aligning early childhood learning, scholarships, and remedial support, we build resilient educational ecosystems.

At Royalty World, we view child sponsorship not as a simple donation, but as a strategic investment in local stability and growth. Enrolling a child in school transforms more than an individual life, it strengthens family structures, reduces vulnerable youth populations, and cultivates the next generation of local leadership.

Through our Royalty Education & Capacity Development (RECD) initiative, sponsorship goes beyond tuition fees:

- Holistic Support: Providing foundational school supplies and learning materials.
- Active Mentorship: Regular follow-ups, progress tracking, and emotional care to ensure academic retention.
- Capacity Strengthening: Equipping scholars with core life skills and resilience tools to thrive beyond the classroom.
- Accountability: Delivering monthly updates directly to sponsors to maintain transparency and measure scholar milestones.

To date, we have supported 375 scholars across our target communities. As the new academic year approaches, our goal is to extend this lifeline to 500 scholars by September 2026.

From August 12–13, 2026, the Royalty World team participated in the two-day North West and South West Clusters Transition to Sectors Coordination Workshop.

Under the theme “Strengthening Coordination, Building Resilience, Advancing the Humanitarian Development Peace Nexus,” this workshop brought together government representatives, UN agencies, cluster/sector coordinators, and local partners to map out the shift from cluster systems to sustainable, locally led sector coordination.

For Royalty World, these conversations directly mirror our daily commitment on the ground across Protection, WASH, and Education. The sessions highlighted key priorities that drive our mission:

- Local Ownership & Sustainability: Ensuring coordination structures are driven by and responsive to crisis-affected communities.
- Standardized Excellence: Upholding core humanitarian principles, robust information management, and sector standards.
- Integrated Impact: Bridging immediate emergency response with long-term development and peacebuilding efforts.
