𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐲 𝐒𝐨𝐢𝐥 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐬 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐲 𝐅𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐬

One of the best ways to protect our crops is by keeping the soil healthy. Organic fertilizer helps crops grow better, improves soil fertility, and gives farmers a sustainable way to increase food production while adapting to climate change.

On 17th July 2026, Nkwa4Change Solutions successfully distributed compost manure to farmers at Mevio Tole. The distribution was led by our Project Coordinator, Motia Nja Njobaya Felicia as part of our commitment to support farmers with practical solutions they can use on their farms.

At Nkwa4Change Solutions, we believe that empowering peasant farmers with simple and sustainable farming practices is key to building climate-resilient communities. We will continue to stand with farmers by providing the knowledge, skills, and support they need to adapt to the changing climate and improve their livelihoods.

Yesterday at Mevio Tole, Nkwa4Change Solutions successfully carried out an Agroecology Training and Tree Planting Activity

Through our continuous commitment, Nkwa4change Solutions works to support farmers and rural communities in adapting to the changing climate by promoting sustainable, practical, and nature based solutions.

The training focused on strengthening farmers understanding of agroecology as a climate-smart farming approach that restores soil fertility, improves food production, and enhances environmental protection. Participants gained practical knowledge that they can easily apply in their daily farming activities.

A key highlight of the session was training on compost manure led by the project coordinator Motia Nja Njobaya Felicia , where farmers learned how to prepare organic fertilizer using simple and locally available materials. This helps reduce dependence on costly chemical inputs while improving soil health in a sustainable way.

We also conducted a tree planting exercise and distributed climate-friendly and medicinal trees, encouraging participants to adopt tree planting as a long-term strategy for climate change adaptation, land restoration, and improved community health. The trees included moringa, soursop, plum, apple, and bitter cola etc known for their environmental benefits, soil restoration properties, and nutritional or medicinal value.

These trees contribute not only to restoring degraded land and increasing biodiversity, but also to improving household nutrition and supporting traditional health practices within communities.

We sincerely appreciate our partners, AFSA and Mboscuda-Cameroon, for their continuous support and collaboration in making this activity possible. Their partnership strengthens our shared mission of promoting climate resilience and sustainable agriculture at the community level.

𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗼𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱

As part of our internship program, our intern had the opportunity to participate in a community conversation focused on the boy child.

The session provided valuable insights into the importance of raising boys in supportive environments where they receive the care, guidance, mentorship, and opportunities they need to thrive. It also highlighted the collective responsibility of families, schools, community leaders, and organizations in shaping boys into responsible and respectful men.

At Nkwa4change Solutions , we believe that engaging young professionals in community learning equips them with practical knowledge while strengthens their commitment to create positive social change.

We are proud of our intern's Awãh Lësley Brïght participation and look forward to seeing the impact of the knowledge and experience gained through this engagement.

𝗝𝗢𝗜𝗡 𝗨𝗦 𝗧𝗢𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗥𝗢𝗪

Nkwa4Change Solutions, in partnership with Mboscuda-Cameroon and AFSA invites women, farmers, and community members to a practical training on Agroecology practices.

This training will focus on practical agroecology methods that farmers can apply directly on their farms. Participants will learn how to improve soil fertility, restore the environment, and produce healthy crops using simple and natural approaches.

As part of the training, participants will also gain experience in making organic fertilizer (including compost and liquid manure) and engaging in tree planting activities, all of which support agroecological farming and sustainable land use.

The session is designed to be fully practical, helping farmers understand and apply agroecology in real farming situations.

As part of her internship, our intern Awãh Lësley Brïght carried out an agroecology awareness session with pupils at the Catholic School in Tole on May 13th 2026.

During the session, the children learned about sustainable farming, caring for the environment, and the importance of healthy living. It was wonderful to see them actively participate, ask questions, and show interest in the topic.

Teaching young people about agroecology helps them understand how they can protect the environment and contribute to a better future.

We are proud of our intern for this impactful activity and her commitment to community education.

𝗪𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗘 𝗧𝗢 𝗖𝗟𝗜𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗘 𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡
At the Zero Waste Forum 2026 Istanbul, Türkiye, our Executive Director Nkembeteck Henry Nkwa had the opportunity to share one of our most impactful initiatives: Biochar, a project built on the belief that nothing in agriculture should be considered waste.

The media team showed great interest in how we transform agricultural residues into biochar, creating a sustainable solution that empowers farmers to turn their own waste into valuable organic fertilizer. This approach not only reduces waste but also improves soil health, boosts crop productivity, lowers production costs, and captures carbon that would otherwise be released into the atmosphere.

The future of agriculture is not in waste management. It is in waste transformation.

𝗭𝗲𝗿𝗼 𝗪𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗺 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 – 𝗜𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗯𝘂𝗹, 𝗧ü𝗿𝗸𝗶𝘆𝗲

Our CEO/Founder of Nkwa4Change Solutions Nkembeteck Henry Nkwa took part in the Zero Waste Forum 2026 held in Istanbul, Türkiye.

The forum brought together government representatives, organizations, innovators, and practitioners from different parts of the world to discuss practical solutions on waste reduction, circular economy, and environmental sustainability.

It was a meaningful space for learning and exchange of ideas on how communities and countries can work towards reducing waste, protecting the environment, and building more sustainable systems for the future.

The experience also provided opportunities to connect with different stakeholders and understand how different countries are implementing zero waste strategies in their own contexts.

The lessons and insights gained will help strengthen ongoing work in climate action, regenerative agriculture, and environmental initiatives, especially in supporting smallholder farmers and local communities.

We remain committed to promote practical solutions that improve livelihoods while protecting the environment for future generations.

Nkwa4Change Solutions had the honor of taking part in the launching ceremony of the Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) Referral Mechanism for Children in the Northwest and Southwest Regions of Cameroon, held at Mountain Hotel.

We were represented by Motia Nja Njobaya Felicia and our intern Atute Lesly Bright.

The ceremony brought together different stakeholders working to strengthen child protection and psychosocial support systems.

Activities included presentation of the MHPSS referral framework, drama performances on child mental health, introduction of the referral toolkit, and discussions on coordination and implementation.

We also received 10 copies of the GBV (Gender-Based Violence) Referral Pathways, which will support our work in referrals and case management.

This initiative shows the importance of collaboration in addressing the mental health and psychosocial needs of children affected by crisis.

Nkwa4Change Solutions remains dedicated to promoting mental health, child protection, and preventing gender-based violence in our communities through active engagement and partnerships.

Nkwa4Change Solutions officially welcomes AWAH ATUH LESLEY BRIGHT to the team as a Marketing Intern, who will be with us for a period of two months.

She is a Level 3 student at the University of Dschang, Faculty of Agronomy and Agricultural Sciences, specializing in Economics and Sociology.

During her internship, she will be working with our team on different tasks and gaining real field experience, while learning and contributing to our work.
We are happy to have her with us and look forward to working together.
