BACK TO SCHOOL 2026–2027

A new academic year brings new dreams, new opportunities and new possibilities for every child. As families prepare for the 2026–2027 school year, BHODEV and Eka David Memorial Foundation (EDMEF), is committed to supporting vulnerable children in accessing essential school materials. Every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow and succeed.
Through our Back-to-School initiative, we are calling on individuals, organizations, businesses, community leaders, partners and friends of education to join us in supporting children with essential educational materials, including:

📚 Exercise books
✏️ Pens, pencils, rulers and other stationery
👕 School uniforms
👟 Shoes and other school supplies
🎓 Educational and motivational support

BHODEV WASH Needs Assessment Southwest Region, Cameroon 🇨🇲

In Likombe, Southwest Cameroon, BHODEV conducted a comprehensive WASH Needs Assessment under the WASH Cluster across communities, schools, and health centers.

Our team assessed the hygienic conditions of toilets, water access, and sanitation facilities to identify urgent gaps affecting children, patients, and vulnerable families.

The findings are driving action.

✔️ Renovation of school buildings
✔️ Construction of new, safe toilets
✔️ Improved sanitation facilities
✔️ Strengthening hygiene standards in health centers

Access to safe water, sanitation, and hygiene is not a privilege, it is a basic human right. Through this intervention, BHODEV is restoring dignity, improving health outcomes, and creating safer learning environments for children in the community of likombe

BHODEV WASH Needs Assessment – Tang Community

Under the WASH Cluster, BHODEV conducted a WASH Needs Assessment in the Tang Community, located in the Northwest Momo division Njikwa, Mbengwi subdivision.

The assessment focused on evaluating the hygienic condition of toilet facilities within the community, identifying sanitation gaps that pose risks to public health, dignity, and environmental safety.

This initiative strengthens BHODEV’s commitment to community-led sanitation, disease prevention, and improved living conditions for vulnerable populations.
