Gracious Gifters Foundation is a Non-governmental organization created in November 2021 with head quaters in Buea, Cameroon. Gracious Gifters was founded by a dynamic and active young Cameroonian whom out of her soft heart for humanity decided to join hands with others to stretch out a helping hand to the less privileged. Gracious Gifters engage in activities such as orphanage and hospital visits,

health campaigns, street help, community developmental activities, and many more. it has an official page and other social media accounts where it communicates its activities to its members dornors, and wel-wishers. Gracious Gifters raises funds through contributions from members internally and externally from donors who have the mind of promoting the welfare of the less privileged. Volunteer or partner with us and lets together change lives and promote the wellbeing of the less privileged. OUR MISSION
Our mission is to reduce hunger, as we strive to reduce the rate of poverty and assist in Community Development most especially in the remote areas. OUR VISION

As a continuation of the Safe Livelihoods & Voices Project, the team from Gracious Gifters Foundation (GGF) and Hope in Pink Foundation took to the airwaves of CBS Radio!

We were honored to be hosted by -Kaloff Batata on his premier program, The Humanitarian, where we cracked open a vital conversation on Gender-Based Violence (GBV), sexual violence, and the deep, systemic issues faced by internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Cameroon, especially Muea and mile 16 Buea.

We laid bare the extreme vulnerabilities that internally displaced women and girls face daily while navigating conflict and trying to survive in communities like Muea and Mile 16.

We gave insights to our intentional strategy to empower marketplace women. Because When a vulnerable woman builds financial literacy and independent income, she gains the tangible bargaining power needed to negotiate her safety, claim her rights, and reject exploitation.

We shared actionable instructions on navigating the 3-Step Referral Pathway (Medical care, Psychosocial support, and Legal aid). Heavily emphasizing that getting a survivor to a health center within the critical 72-hour window is non-negotiable for emergency healthcare and preserving legal evidence.

We challenged the wider Buea community to tear down the culture of silence because True protection happens when we train local traders to become marketplace "First Responders" who can recognize the early warning signs of abuse and act as immediate safety contacts.

Media spotlight is one of the tools we're using to preach about sexual violence, in addition to our ground activities and health center outreaches.

As part of our activities to officially mark the Safe Livelihoods & Voices Project, the joint team from the Gracious Gifters Foundation (GGF) and the in Pink Foundation featured as special guests on Royal TV's premier women's program, "Sister's Circle"!

We had a powerful conversation unpacking this vital initiative, which seeks to empower vulnerable and displaced women and girls by providing sustainable livelihood opportunities while actively amplifying their voices in crucial decision-making processes.

Here is a quick look at what we shared with thousands of viewers across the region:

We discussed how building financial literacy, business bookkeeping skills, and independent income directly dismantles the power imbalances that leave displaced women vulnerable to abuse and exploitation. This is because financial independence gives women the real bargaining power to negotiate their safety.

We highlighted our upcoming training framework, where we will be equipping 15 vulnerable IDP micro-business owners in Muea and Mile 16. These resilient women will learn to recognize the early warning signs of violence, understand consent, and act as immediate safety contacts right within their local marketplaces.

We shared the exact, practical steps the community must take to guide survivors to safety, emphasizing the critical 3-Step Referral Pathway;

1. Immediate Medical care (especially within the critical 72-hour window)
2. Psychosocial counseling
3. Legal aid

This media spotlight is just the beginning!
Our ground activities and health center outreaches are currently in the pipeline!

This impactful initiative is a collaborative effort brought to you by Gracious Gifters Foundation and Hope in Pink Foundation, proudly supported by Women Cameroon (REWOCAM).

The primary goal of this initiative, is to drastically reduce the vulnerability of displaced women and girls to sexual violence and exploitation. We believe that true protection goes beyond just conversation, it requires giving women tangible power over their lives.

We are rolling out a targeted, multi-layered approach built on 5 core pillars:

1. Providing hands-on financial literacy, business bookkeeping, and growth strategies to help women and girls build self-reliance.
2. Training everyday women to recognize early warning signs of abuse, understand consent, and confidently use reporting channels.
3. Conducting vital sensitization sessions in local healthcare spaces to reach mothers where they feel safest.
4. Launching strategic media campaigns to challenge the "shame narrative" and break the culture of silence in the community.
5. Creating lasting peer-support networks to ensure no woman walks the journey of sexual abuse alone.

By connecting financial agency with physical safety, this project's impact will transform participants into community "First Responders" and market leaders.
We are building a visible, community-led protection network where women have the economic bargaining power to negotiate their safety, claim their rights, and build a secure future.

May 2026 has been a whirlwind of advocacy, action, and . To crown our month-long celebration of International Menstrual Hygiene Day, Gracious Gifters Foundation and our partners took the movement from the airwaves to the heart of the Tole community, Buea.

Our 360-degree approach this year was about;

Media Advocacy: Sensitization across Dash Radio, CBS Radio, and Royal TV.
Grassroots Impact: Empowering over 100 adolescent girls and young women in Tole with dignity kits and health education.

We stood on six pillars this month:

As part of the several activities to mark Menstrual Hygiene Month, Gracious Gifters Foundation and her partners were at Dash Radio on the 9th of May 2026 to take the conversation to the airwaves!!

We believe that breaking the silence starts with clear, accessible information. During our session, we discussed the essentials of Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM), covering:

✅ The Basics: Defining MHM and why it is a pillar of health and dignity.
✅ Smart Pas Disposal: How to properly dispose of used pads to keep our environment clean.
✅ Practical Alternatives: What to do when traditional pads aren't available. (What else can we use in the absence of pads)
✅ Daily Hygiene: Simple tips for staying fresh and confident during our periods.

One of the biggest lessons from this session is the massive hunger for this information!
By partnering with fellow organizations, we are not just talking; we are empowering women and girls across Buea to manage their cycles safely and without shame.

It is that time of the year again where we get to amplify the sensitization we do about menstrual hygiene, break stigmas, and challenge the silence as we prepare to commemorate International Menstrual Hygiene Day on May 28, 2026.

Menstrual hygiene is not just a health issue; it is a matter of human rights, education, and fundamental dignity.
Globally, millions of girls and women are held back by a lack of access to sanitary products and the weight of social taboos.
The International Menstrual Hygiene Day, serves as a vital reminder that a natural biological process should never be a barrier to a girl's potential or her seat in the classroom.

At Gracious Gifters Foundation, raising awareness about menstruation is planted into our DNA. Through our flagship Red Pride Project, we have spent the past years moving beyond the "shame" narrative to foster a culture of "pride" and empowerment.

Our work has consistently focused on:
- Dismantling Social Constructs: We work tirelessly to deconstruct the myths that lead to stigma, ensuring that menstruation is seen as a sign of health and strength.
- Education & Digital Inclusion: By integrating health education with our commitment to digital and vocational skills, we ensure that women and girls are equipped to navigate the world with confidence even on thier periods.
