Workplace abuse often goes unreported, with survivors citing fears and concerns including:

-Fear of retaliation or job loss
-Concerns about not being believed
-Shame, guilt, or self-blame
-Lack of trust in reporting systems or authorities.

To foster a culture of transparency and accountability, organizations can take proactive steps to break down reporting barriers, including:

* Establishing clear, confidential reporting procedures
* Providing training on recognizing and addressing abuse
* Ensuring prompt, impartial investigations
* Offering support and resources for survivors
* Fostering a culture of trust, respect, and zero tolerance for abuse

When it's safe to speak out, survivors don't just recount their stories, they transform workplaces into havens of safety, justice, and accountability.

As we continue to say no to GBV, Juna, was honored to collaborate with the Students Association and Association for Sustainable Agriculture-ASA where we had the privilege of presenting on the critical topics of the of a girl Child and Gender-Based Violence (GBV), shedding light on the importance of education, equality, and protection.

As part of our efforts to empower young women and girls, we recognized and rewarded outstanding females in the Mbei- Santa community with gifts symbolizing our commitment to their growth and success.

Through this partnership and initiative, we aim to inspire a culture of respect, equality, and empowerment for girls and young women.

During the 2days Voices That Lead bootcamp which brought together over 100 participants, empowering the next generation of leaders to create positive change, Juna had the privilege of delivering a presentation on ending Gender-Based Violence (GBV), with a focus on prevention and response strategies.

Led by our Executive Director and Secretary General, the presentation aimed to raise awareness about the importance of addressing GBV and the critical role that men and boys can play in preventing it.

By engaging men and boys in the conversation, we can work towards creating a society that values equality, respects the rights of all individuals, and promotes a culture of non-violence.

Through this initiative, we are committed to building a safer and more just community for everyone.

The Voices That Lead bootcamp was an incredible experience for the teenagers who attended! 🌟 Over two days, they participated in dynamic workshops and presentations that covered a range of vital topics, including Gender-Based Violence (GBV) awareness and prevention, empowering them to recognize and address these critical issues.

The bootcamp also covered technology and online safety, empowering the teens to navigate the digital world with confidence and caution. Additionally, they learned about knowing their rights, understanding what they are entitled to, and how to assert themselves in various situations.

Another key focus area was Period Power, where the teens had the opportunity to break down stigmas and promote menstrual health. By discussing these important issues, they became more aware and empathetic towards one another. Advocacy was also a major part of the bootcamp, as the teens learned how to find their voice and make a difference in their communities.

These young leaders left the bootcamp equipped with knowledge, confidence, and a sense of purpose. 🌈 We're proud of their enthusiasm and commitment to creating positive change! 🌎

We're thrilled to share the highlights from the Voices That Lead bootcamp, involving Just Now Action - JUNA, in partnership with Emerge Association, Empowerment Action Network , FAPS Development and under the patronage of . This two-day brought together young leaders aged 13-19 to develop their advocacy and leadership skills.

Our mission was clear: to equip them with the knowledge and tools needed to become trailblazers in their communities. We empowered young girls and boys to speak truth with power, to break barriers, and to confront injustice. Their voices will echo across villages, cities, nations, and history itself. 🌍

Voices That Lead is more than just an initiative – it's a movement. We're raising advocates, visionaries, and nation-builders who will shape the future. The silence is broken, and the world is listening. 🌟
