We held a Capacity Building session on Compliance and risk Management with students on internship at the Buea Council. More than 100 students participated. This is part of our objectives and commitment to community development through Capacity Building.

In line with our vision to develop youth through education and training, we collaborated with the Kumba 1 Council on a capacity building session for over 150 students on internship and doing holiday jobs with the institution. The session focused on Compliance and Risk management. Participants were drilled on the importance of compliance to state regulations and organizational policies to ease and improve personal and collective productivity and mitigate associated risks.

As we continue to prepare for our Hospitality Service Competition and Exhibition which will take place on 28th and 29th November 2024 at the Buea Council, we will like to introduce some of our international judges who will facilitate the event.

Mr Olakan Ogunleye is a Nigerian IT expert and Director of operations at Progess Heritage LTD. Nigeria. He is a seasoned Hospitality expert and shall be responsible for grading our participants on Innovation and Sustainability.

As we celebrate this year’s World Tourism Day, we would like to promote and encourage peace amongst stakeholders in the Tourism Industry. It is important to use our various resources and platforms to advocate for Global Peace.

We are excited to to inform the Cameroonian population especially those in the Food and Beverage sector of hospitality of our first edition of the Hospitality Service Competition which will take place in Buea on the 28th and 29th of November 2024. Establishments who wish to participate in this competition should register at our office in Great Soppo Buea by latest 30th October.

We shall have international and seasoned judges from Dubai, Ghana and Nigeria respectively and prizes will be awarded to the best participants who show their outstanding skills and creativity in serving their guests.

As we send you best wishes for this New month, we also wish to inform you that the world Tourism Day 2024 in scheduled for Friday 27th September. We shall have a series of activities to mark the day beginning from 12th of September.

We had an orientation program to guide students looking to enroll into universities and other higher institutions on what and how to prepare for a career. About 200 students who succeeded in this year’s GCE advanced level exams were in attendance.
