✨ Highlights from Last Thursday's Training ✨
Last week, JCI Buea Summit hosted a powerful Masterclass on Project Planning & Management – facilitated by the brilliant Laye Mbunkur (Past National President, JCI Cameroon).
But here's the real reason we organized this training:
👉 To better manage our own projects.
And true to the JCI philosophy of "Learning by Doing" – participants who attended now have the opportunity to volunteer in JCI Buea Summit's upcoming projects and immediately put into practice what they learned.
Because we are not just a local chapter. We are proud hosts of the Second National Council of JCI Cameroon, and we are organizing a TOYP (Ten Outstanding Young Persons) Award and Alumni Gala.
We need skilled hands. We need intentional leaders. Not accidental managers.
This session was grounded in PRINCE2 methodology, covering:
✅ Building strong foundations before launching a project
✅ Crafting a clear Project Brief & PID for alignment and accountability
✅ Running projects with rhythms, live tracking, and risk management
✅ Closing projects with evaluation, lessons, and team celebration
A special shout-out to Jaycee Esdras – our National Public Speaking Director – who joined us all the way from Douala to support the session. 🎤
📸 Swipe through to see the energy, focus, and teamwork.
To every participant: Come volunteer. Practice what you learned. Grow with us.
