In honor of World Day, Community Based Climate Association- COBCA hosted a powerful youth-focused event themed Youth-Led for Action and Biodiversity on the 23rd of May 2025 in the University of Buea Cameroon.

With over 110 students in attendance, the event inspired and educated young minds on innovative strategies to protect and our planet.

These Insightful sessions were led by change-makers like Ms. Sandra Mr. Bertrand , Dr. Asong Fred, and more.

We also had an exciting interactive quiz sessions where the participants won cash prizes.

We're proud to share the success of our project at Oxford Nursery and Primary School Muea, Buea! Our team empowered over 50 children with climate change , using interactive games and climate to promote learning and engagement.

This project is just one example of our commitment to education and community empowerment. We're dedicated to inspiring a love of and a desire to protect our in the next generation.

Our vision is to reach 10,000 kids in the Southwest Region of Cameroon, and we can't do it alone. We're open to and with like-minded organizations and individuals who share our passion for education and community empowerment.

During our kickstart of the Climate Kids Tour Project for 2025, we engaged over 100 Kids in a hands on planting activity. The kids were so excited to be a part of this activity. We divided them in groups of 3-4 and each group planted and to take care of their plant till it fully grows.

A member of our partner organization was assigned to visit the school every two weeks to check on the tree and award the group whose tree was not destroyed and grew to maturity.

You do not need much to take a step to contribute to climate action, every little action taken will create ripple effect for the next generation. Joins us on the journey to empower 10,000kids in the Southwest Region of Cameroon

The Climate Kids Tour project just started for 2025🍀

Our Kids Tour project is making in the Southwest Region of Cameroon! At Government School Botaland, we recently engaged 100+ kids in sessions, , climate , and planting - with 30 flowers planted

Thanks to our 4 partner organizations for their support. While we've empowered close to 600 kids so far, our goal remains to reach 10,000 kids in the southwest region of Cameroon

Calling on for and for our next event as we raise the next generation of climate ambassadors.
