Breast cancer is a type of cancer that originates in the cells of the breast, often in the ducts or lobules that produce milk. It can occur in both men and women, though it is far more common in women. Risk factors include age, genetics, family history, and lifestyle choices such as diet, alcohol consumption, and smoking.

Early detection is crucial for better outcomes. Regular self-examinations, clinical breast exams, and mammograms help in identifying potential lumps or abnormalities. Symptoms include changes in breast shape, a new lump, pain, or ni**le discharge. If detected early, breast cancer can often be treated successfully with surgery, radiation, chemotherapy, or hormone therapy.

Preventive measures include maintaining a healthy weight, staying physically active, limiting alcohol intake, and considering regular screenings, especially if there’s a family history. Promoting awareness and understanding of breast cancer is key to encouraging early detection and supporting those affected.

Hence we at ECF will be participating in this outreach. This is something you won’t want to miss

The 2024 back to school project is here!

The Eyole Back to School Project is more than just an initiative—it's a labor of love, a commitment to the dreams of young minds who are eager to learn but face obstacles that threaten to dim their potential.

We do this because we believe that every child deserves the chance to pursue an education, no matter their circumstances.

For many of these children, the start of a school year isn't just about new books or fresh uniforms—it's a lifeline, a bridge to a future full of possibilities.

When we support them, we’re not just giving them supplies; we’re giving them hope. We do it because we know that education has the power to transform lives, to break the cycle of poverty, and to create leaders who will shape a better tomorrow.

This project is about community, compassion, and the belief that every child’s dream is worth fighting for.

Eyole Charity Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting education, empowerment, health, and well-being of women and children in Cameroon. • Provide Accessible Education: Ensure that children (orphans, disabled, internally displaces, children from struggling and unstable homes) in underserved communities have access to quality education by providing educational materials, offering scholarships or financial assistance and organizing educative beneficial programs

• Improve Healthcare Services: providing essential medical supplies, facilitating health education and awareness programs.

• Empower Women and Girls: Implement initiatives focused on empowering women and girls through education, skills training, and support networks, thereby promoting women's empowerment.

• Combat Poverty: Implement sustainable livelihood programs such as vocational training, microfinance initiatives, and entrepreneurship support to help families lift themselves out of poverty and build a better future.

• Community Development: Engage in community development projects such as sanitation improvements to enhance the overall well-being and resilience of communities.
