Today is celebrated as World Humanitarian Day!!!

In one of my Humanitarian Missions to Cameroon 6 years back when I created the Daddy Ndong International Humanitarian Foundation (DANIHF), I was confronted by a battery of Journalists that sort to know "what legacy do I want to leave behind and what would I want to be remembered for as a Humanitarian activist and Philanthropist", and I told them....

“I will want to be remembered as someone who matched words with actions and someone who took the shortest time possible to put smiles on the faces of half a million of our people."

Thank God, 6 years down the road after making that statement, I am gradually coming in terms with my promise to our people.. I have been able through my Foundation (the Daddy Ndong International Humanitarian Foundation: DANIHF), through private and personal assistance and supports to individuals, through my pages such as the Daddy Ndong's Motivations, Training and Empowerment and my personal page Prince Ndong Elias-Ivor Wright; to have come this far, sacrificing all it takes to put a smile on someone’s face…

I am glad to announce that I am almost getting there as promised and I keep doing just that which as a humanitarian sacrificing my all to whatever I do with happiness, a clear heart and conscience and love for my people and community.. Something many can not do from their hard earned money to people they know little or nothing about…

As today is World Humanitarian Day, I want to seize this opportunity to wish a Happy World Humanitarian Day to all humanitarians both at home and abroad especially great humanitarians like Hardo Hardo, Elisabeth Enow, Tekok Terence, and a host of other genuine humanitarians out there..

I have done my best in a world where people of our caliber are not known and are not celebrated but those who make empty noises are being celebrated daily within our communities… In my journey of giving back to the community, I have equally come in terms with the fact that we also have a lot of ungrateful people without conscience or remorseless individuals but this has never changed my perspectives, my love for humanity and my desire to continue with My Vision, My Passion and My Mission in putting smiles on the face of the less fortunate ones in our communities…

Happy World Humanitarian Day my people.. We keep the fight because we are a family…

The Last Chapter of My One Week Humanitarian Journey to Cameroon: Part VIII

The day was July 18, 2026 and the occasion was the 5th Anniversary of Daddy Ndong International Humanitarian Foundation, the place was the PCC Multi purpose hall Buea Molyko. One of the things that marked this Anniversary a remarkable one was the recognition bestowed on some members of DANIHF and some from the Civil Society for their continuous contributions and dedication towards uplifting the human life through their humanitarian efforts.

The Anniversary opened the doors to the public to know who some of the things people have been sacrificing for to make our communities a better place to leave in. It was equally an opportunity where dedication, commitment, and passion was truly appreciated and recognized. DANIHF for the past 5 years has been at the service of the communities through humanitarian actions from committing to train and empower individuals, visitations to schools, hospitals, orphanages and different organizations to commune with them to putting smiles on the faces of the less privileged by sometimes providing support to health care, single mothers, engaged in scholarship programs, providing support to widows and widowers, fight against drugs, crimes, r**e, etc and engaged positively in nation building.

During the 5th Anniversary, I was highly impressed by the height of the recognition I received from the office of the UN Cisre Program through the Grass to Grace Organization head by it’s flag bearer HRM Chief Ayuk Thomas. It is worthy to note that some members of my team were also recognized for their dedication to humanity. The President of DANIHF, Mr Kunyui Ngonmenyui and the Center Regional Coordinator for DANIHF, Madam Ngwang Diana-Joyce were on hand to receive their humanitarian medals. Some other Civil Society Humanitarian Activists were also recognized for their contributions to building a safe haven for the less privileged and among them was Mr Tekok Terence, President of Make Ourselves Happy, an organization make up of IDps who are also physically disabled.

It should be noted that in 2022, I received the Cameroon 2022 Courageous Men Award for my humanitarian activities and on this day I got the Central Africa Global Humanitarian Icon of Compassion and Impact Award 2026.. Thank you all for making this happen and to my collaborators, I say it is because of all you all.. In DANIHF, we are a Family… God Bless

My one week Humanitarian Journey to Cameroon: Part VII

Celebrating 5 years with lots of success stories from a childhood dream to realization is what makes me a happy man within the context of someone whose dreams was fulfilled and is making waves across communities around the globe.

When I was growing up I saw suffering myself and witness suffering and pain in others because they were downtrodden and considered themselves less fortunates in the society. I prayed day and night that God should bless me and bless those around me so that the suffering masses can reduce or be reduced by me in my own little ways that I will be able to give back to the community.

After toiling through the years to make ends meet, I studied hard, respected humanity and prayed hard for sunshine in my life. God answered my prayers and I was blessed to have be uplifted and so I started by doing just the minimal according to my pockets though it was very private through my secondary and university days, I did the little I could until I was finally blessed with and became who I am today.

When the time was ripe, that is in 2020, I waged a war against poverty, unemployment, hunger, suffering, laziness, etc by going global and creating the Daddy Ndong International Humanitarian Foundation (DANIHF) which immediately went into action and today it is proud to be celebrating 5 years of existence coming at time when our beloved country is plaque with a 10 year sociopolitical crisis that has seen the rise of refugees and IDPs. Celebrating 5 years of accomplishments, putting smiles on the faces of the less fortunates is a milestone worth celebrating. Thank you all for those who came from far and wide just to honor their invitations, sacrificing their time, resources and other precious things they could have been doing just to come to Buea for the 5th Anniversary of DANIHF.. In DANIHF, we are a family.. God bless

My one week Humanitarian Journey to Cameroon: Part VI

As I journeyed to Cameroon for a week long humanitarian trip, one thing preoccupied my mind and my one week trip which was that of celebrating the 5th Anniversary of Daddy Ndong International Humanitarian Foundation (DANIHF) in grand style since it was a childhood dream celebrating 5 years of existence.

Upon arrival, I had other preoccupations which included visitations to orphanages, a trip to Bota Limbe to visit this particular organization know as Make Ourselves Happy. On my scheduled too was supposed to be the visit of some hospitals in and around Buea but unfortunately due to time constraints, I only visited one; the Bogwaongo Integrated Health Center and also was to have some audiences with authorities of the South West Region.

My last day for the humanitarian journey was culminated with the celebrations of the 5th Anniversary of DANIHF, which was a great success as friends, families, humanitarian organizations, activists and well wishers all over Cameroon strung into Buea at the PCC Multi purpose hall in Molyko to witness first hand of how DANIHF was born, how it and survived the past 5 years and a way forward for DANIHF..

During this 5th Anniversary celebrations, speakers after speakers gave DANIHF a special appreciation for all that DANIHF have been doing the vulnerable, the orphans, wisdoms, single mothers, the girl church, the training and empowerment to young people, didactic materials to schools, hospital supports and a host of other things DANIHF have been able to do in our communities both at home and in other parts of the world where DANIHF is present.

The colorful events was an occasion for DANIHF to tell the world how they have been able to give back to the community for that past 5 years and how they will continue putting smiles on the faces of the less privileged. Some members of DANIHF and civil society were equally decorated as testimonies for their hard work in the face of all adversaries for the sake of humanity. In DANIHF we are a family.. Happy 5th Anniversary.. God Bless…
