With the 2025 Presidential elections approaching, as part of Regional advocacy program in Enhancing Youth Participation in Election, preparing first-time voters and election observers is essential for ensuring a peaceful electoral process. In support of this critical goal, we conducted an outdoor advocacy session on the 06 of October 2025 focused on "Enhancing Youth Participation in Elections."Funded by Network for Solidarity Empowerment and Transformation for All and National Endowment for Democracy .The session, graced by the presence of local authorities, utilized the arts as a powerful medium to inspire a narrative of peace and patriotism. Through creative expression, we engaged young participants, equipping them with the motivation and perspective needed to contribute to a harmonious and credible election.

This past Sunday, September 28th, 2025, was a landmark day for us. We were thrilled to host a dynamic "Ballot Buddy" Regional Sensitization Event, funded by NewSETA Network for Solidarity Empowerment and Transformation for All and their partner, NED National Endowment for Democracy
True to our mission of fostering informed, critical, and proactive youth leadership, this event was all about "Enhancing Youth Participation in Elections."

The air was buzzing with energy as young people from across our communities came together to:

🗳 Demystify the electoral process and understand its power.
💡 Discuss the importance of our voices in shaping the future.
🤝 Empower each other to become informed and active citizens.

This non-partisan initiative provided a crucial platform for education and dialogue, equipping us with the knowledge to confidently participate in the democratic journey of our nation.

On Friday the 20th of December 2024, the participants of the Training of Trainers on Peace Processes and prevention of recruitment of Child in Arm conflict and Violence for Male and Female Mediators (TOT PSOPS) came together to organize a remarkable event – “ Community Service and Echo Walk”.
Community leaders from divisions across the North West and South West regions have joined hands to carry out a community cleanup activity that embodies the values of unity, service, and environmental stewardship.

In Mezam Division, a dedicated team of 10 leaders who took part in the Training of Trainers from various subdivisions led the charge in this initiative. Working in collaboration with Bambili Youth Think Tank Club for Peace, Xhuma Africa,@ Conscript of Cameroon Civic Service Agency for Participation in Development, and PINNACLEs Enterprise, we were privileged to have the support of sponsors like Local Youth Corner Cameroon and The Dallaire Institute for Children, Peace and Security, who helped make this event possible.
With a total of 61 enthusiastic participants, we took to the streets to clean up our community, focusing on areas like streets and bridges. Through our actions, we aimed to send a strong message about the importance of active participation in works of common interest for the betterment of our communities. We emphasized the significance of waste management, hygiene, and the collective responsibility we all share in maintaining a clean and healthy environment.

We are pleased to announce the successful completion of intensive two-semester onsite training and online Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) training by our esteemed program coordinator and team lead, Ndzedzeni Lidovic. Ndzedzeni was selected to undergo this rigorous training, and we congratulate him on earning the following certificates in recognition of his dedication and hard work.

Haven acquired valuable skills and knowledge in peace building and conflict management as a PeaceWeaver, we are confident that he will be able to apply these newfound abilities within our community to promote harmony and understanding among individuals.

We look forward to Ndzedzeni sharing his learnings with our community and leveraging his expertise to create a more peaceful environment for all. Our heartfelt thanks to and for providing this valuable opportunity for our youth leaders to grow as a peacebuilder.
