Smart Kids Foundation was honored to participate in a high-level diplomatic meeting organized by Hope Advocates Africa engaging with H.E. Marie-Claude Harvey, High Commission of Canada to Cameroon. During her visit to the Southwest Region.

The High Commissioner held an insightful exchange with women and youth leaders from Civil Society Organizations gaining a deeper understanding of their impactful work and ongoing efforts to sustainable development.

In the course of our discussions, she highlighted Canada’s commitment to strengthening diplomatic relations and supporting Cameroon’s development priorities. The engagement created a valuable platform to amplify the realities faced by children, youth and women most particularly while fostering dialogue, collaboration, and partnerships for sustainable development and social cohesion.

At Smart Kids Foundation, we remain committed to empowering children and young people, and to contributing meaningfully to conversations that drive inclusive growth and lasting impact.

On the 21 of October 2025 Smart Kids Foundation SKiF continues with her back to school campaign of restoring hope to vulnerable children by enrolling them in school for quality and inclusive education.

We're indeed grateful to the head teacher for a swift response and collaboration with SKiF, we believe together we'll continue to create more impact in the lives of these kids and in our community beyond.

Restoring Hope Through Education — One Child at a Time!

Smart Kids Foundation, together with our committed partner - FLOMAX has successfully completed this year’s “Restoring Hope Through Education” a community outreach focused on inclusion and quality learning for every child.

During the campaign:
✅ Children received essential school materials to help them return to the classroom prepared and confident.
✅ 10 children were awarded full scholarships into primary school, removing the financial barriers that have kept them out of school.

Through this outreach, we are rebuilding hope, empowering families, and reaffirming that every child matters, ensuring that education remains a right not a privilege

What is the Day about?

The International Day of the Girl Child is observed every year on 11 October to recognize girls’ rights and the unique challenges girls around the world face.

On 11 October 2025, we join the world in observing the International Day of the Girl Child, under the theme ‘The girl I am, the change I lead: Girls on the frontlines of crisis.’ This day calls us to see every girl — not as a passive recipient of aid, but as a leader, dreamer, and change-maker — even when she faces conflict, displacement, climate shocks, or other upheaval.

Let us uplift her voice. Let us invest in her protection, her education, her health. Let us ensure that when crisis hits, she isn’t forgotten — but empowered.”

Empowering young minds for a peaceful tomorrow!

Smart Kids Foundation successfully hosted the “Young Entrepreneurs for Peace” workshop, bringing together vibrant teenagers aged 10–17 years in Muea community.

From learning about peace-building and conflict resolution 🕊️, to discovering the power of entrepreneurship in creating social change, our young participants engaged, shared ideas, and showcased incredible creativity and teamwork.

Through interactive activities, discussions, and games, these inspiring young people explored how entrepreneurship can be a tool to strengthen peace and social cohesion in their communities.

We’re so proud of every participant who joined us, your energy, ideas, and commitment remind us that change truly starts with youth.

A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated interns, volunteers, and everyone who supported this initiative. Let’s keep building bridges of peace together!
