Are you a young girl or a single mother aged 13–30 living in Buea? Ready to learn a valuable trade, build financial independence, and grow your confidence? Her Innovation Cameroon (HIC) is officially opening applications for The Green Stitch Project!

This specialized training program focuses on tailoring up-cycling, entrepreneurship, and vital psychosocial support to help you design a sustainable future.

What You Will Gain:
machine operations – Master the foundational mechanics of tailoring.

Entrepreneurship & financial literacy skills – Learn how to run a profitable business.

Fabric identification & garment upcycling – Turn old textiles into fresh, eco-friendly fashion trends.

Mentorship & Psychosocial support – Guidance and personal development every step of the way.

Program Duration: 19 October to 19 December 2026
Location: HIC Office, Nabesk Street, Bondurant, Buea

We are thrilled to share that Futih Nge, representing Her Innovation Cameroon (HIC), has officially received a Certificate of Participation for successfully completing the Business Skills for Civil Society learning journey!

This intensive learning program, which took place between May and August 2026, was co-hosted by CIVICUS: World Alliance for Citizen Participation and the Aga Khan Foundation Learning Hub. Throughout this journey, our focus was on strengthening the core business skills necessary to drive sustainable change, streamline our impact, and better serve our community.

This achievement directly aligns with our ongoing commitment to innovation, empowerment, and civil society growth here in Cameroon.A heartfelt thank you to CIVICUS and the Aga Khan Foundation for providing such a rich, collaborative space for learning, and to everyone who continues to support Her Innovation Cameroon on our journey to create lasting impact. 💪
