PRAYING FOR OUR CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN 🙏🏽
1. Oh God, we pray that our young adults (girls and boys) will encounter Your love and purpose for their lives, and that they will not be swayed by worldly influences (Psalm 138:8).
- Lord, reveal Your plan and purpose for each life, and give them the courage to follow You wholeheartedly.
2. Father, we pray that they will develop a strong sense of self-worth and identity in Christ, and not base their value on external appearances or peer validation (Proverbs 31:30, 1 Timothy 4:12).
- Father, help them to see themselves through Your eyes, and to find their worth and value in Your love and acceptance. Give them confidence and boldness to stand out as lights and represent You well.
3. Oh Lord, we pray that they will prioritize purity and holiness in their lives, and that they will be guided by Your Word (Psalm 119:9).
- Lord, help them to see the importance of living a life that honors You, and give them the strength to resist temptation.
4. Father, we pray that they will be protected from harmful peer pressure and negative influences that could lead them astray.
- Lord, surround them with positive influences, supportive friends, and mentors who will encourage them to walk in Your ways and stay focused on You and Your plans for their lives.
5. We pray that they will grow in wisdom, discernment, and a deep understanding of God's Word.
- God, give them a hunger for Your Word and a willingness to apply its teachings to their lives.
6. Father, help our young adults to develop strong leadership skills and a sense of responsibility, and that they will use their gifts and talents to serve others.
- Lord, help them to discover their strengths and passions, and to use them to make a positive impact in the world.
May all our young adults get married at the right time to godly partners. In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen 🙌🏽.
