This visionary genius was the brain behind several impactful institutions including Yong Sports Academy, National Polytechnic University Institute (NPUI), KCHS Anyajua, CHS Bambui, Progressive Comprehensive High School Mankon, and many others.

An Anyajua indigenous, Bobe Francis Yong strongly believed that education is the most powerful weapon to fight unemployment, create opportunities, and build a responsible civil society. Through his vision, thousands of young people have been empowered across Cameroon.

Fellow Ex-Students,
We trust in God that we are all doing well.
A few days to the end of 2025, we received the shocking news of the death of our fellow ex-student, Mr. Nganya Fru Emmanuel.
Late Mr. Nganya was a very dedicated member of this noble Association, especially the Bamenda Branch. He was one of those who firmly believed in the growth and advancement of this body. He made outstanding sacrifices and contributed valuable ideas geared toward the progress of the Association. At the time of his passing, he was the active President of the Bamenda Branch and a member of the National Executive.
His death is a great loss to this Association. Although it is not for us to question the wisdom of God, we acknowledge and deeply appreciate all that he did as an alumnus of PCHS Mankon. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family as we continue to thank God for his life and for the time He allowed him to spend with us here on earth.
May his soul continue to rest in the Lord.
In this light, we are launching a fund drive to support his family during this difficult moment. We call on everyone to contribute as he or she is moved. This is our little way of showing gratitude for all he did.
I also wish to encourage every one of us to be part of the funeral program of Mr. Nganya Fru Emmanuel. Special thanks go to all who have visited the family of our departed brother, especially members of the Bamenda Branch. We sincerely appreciate the efforts being made at the various branch levels. May the Lord continue to strengthen you all.

Fellow Ex Students. It is with a heavy heart that I announce the death of our Bamenda branch president Mr Nganya Fru.
He was shot this evening on his way home.
Details will be communicated later.
Please let's commit his family in prayers during this difficult moment.

A reputable referee of the mid 70's and 80's Cameroon.
Pa Yong rose from the second division league in the North West Province to the National Division one League.
He was very meticulous, agile and strict reasons why he was hardly involved in controversial situations.
Calm and friendly.
Pa Yong's passion for football made him an entrepreneur in the sector.
He was proprietor of two outstanding teams... Yong Football Academy and National Polytechnic FC both of Bamenda.
Yong football Academy an Elite one outfit wrote its name in the history of Cameroon Soccer wining the much coveted Cup of Cameroon trophy.
National Polytechnic FC stood tall in Elite Two football. He also ran a radio station in Bamenda " ABAKWA FM".
Pa Yong is deceased. RIP. .
