YOUTHS AND THE FUTURE HANDS OVER ATTESTATION CERTIFICATES FOLLOWING SOLAR & CAMERA INSTALLATION TRAINING
Bamenda, 19th August 2026

Youths and the Future successfully concluded a training session on Solar Installation and Camera Installation today, 19th August 2026.

At the end of the program, participants were awarded attestation certificates in recognition of their commitment and newly acquired technical skills.

In line with our mission, these newly certified youths and community members are now tasked to cade the training and mentor more youths within their communities. Our focus remains on job creation, not just job seeking empowering young people to become employers, innovators, and solution providers.

We remain committed to this vision and we call on partners, donors, and individuals* to continue supporting us as we scale this impact to reach more communities across the Northwest Region and beyond.

For inquiries on partnership, collaboration, or support, please contact us via the email address listed on our profile.

Together, let us empower our youthsbecause our youths are the change we seek.

Today, July 17th, marks another new beginning for the Mfota and Jimbeeh communities.

We successfully carried out professional training on the use of corn trenching machines

These machines, along with other office accessories, were provided to these groups as part of a project initiated by Youths and the Future (Y&F) in collaboration with our partner GIZ, who played a vital role in supporting this initiative to empower vulnerable people.

An expert was on ground today to educate community members on the proper use and maintenance of the corn trenching machines.

We believe this training will help beneficiaries handle the equipment properly, ensuring the machines last longer and serve the community better.

Knowledge is power. This machine will help facilitate the maize farming and marketing project, enabling selected vulnerable beneficiaries and the wider Bafut community to benefit from the project.

We remain committed to reaching more vulnerable people and we need more support to continue this work.

Let love lead in all we do.

Njimbee Community Maize Farm – Project Update

The Njimbee Community maize farm project is currently underway and progressing steadily. This initiative was launched to revive local agriculture, strengthen community resilience, and address food security within Njimbee.

Project Focus:
1.
Reviving Community Agriculture Restoring arable land and reintroducing sustainable maize cultivation practices to rebuild our farming systems.

2. Job Creation Generating direct employment opportunities for youth and community members through land preparation, planting, maintenance, and harvest activities.

This work reflects our commitment to community-led development - using local resources and labor to create lasting impact. Ongoing activities include land preparation, planting, and crop maintenance.

We remain dedicated to building a self-sustaining agricultural model that empowers Njimbee and creates economic opportunities for its people. Further updates and field photos will follow as the season progresses.
