Today, 28 September 2026, we joined diverse stakeholders for the 2nd Egumeni Dialogue – Cameroon National Consultation, bringing together women entrepreneurs, farmers and cooperatives, government representatives, financial institutions, private sector actors, development partners, civil society, researchers, community leaders, young women and representatives of vulnerable groups.

In the presence of a representative of the Minister of Women Empowerment and the Family, we engaged in a powerful panel discussion on:

“Where Do Women Stand? Gaps and Barriers”

We explored women’s access to finance, jobs, land, markets, entrepreneurship, banking and digital financial services, with particular attention to poor, rural and vulnerable women.

Through group discussions, participants also identified what is working and what more needs to be done by government, financial institutions, communities, the private sector and women themselves.

💡 Key priorities included improving access to affordable finance, strengthening women’s businesses and cooperatives, promoting digital and financial literacy, expanding market opportunities, addressing barriers to land and productive resources, and ensuring the meaningful inclusion of young and vulnerable women.

The dialogue was an important space for women’s voices, lived experiences and practical recommendations to contribute to the Cameroon National Consultation and the broader Egumeni Dialogue process.

🌟 A BEAUTIFUL END TO A MEMORABLE YOUTH CAMP! 🌟

After four enriching days of learning, fellowship, spiritual growth, skills development and fun, our 2026 Youth Camp has officially come to an end. 🙏🏽❤️

Yesterday, our young participants had the wonderful opportunity to climb Mount Eloumden. The excursion gave them a chance to appreciate the beauty of God’s creation, strengthen friendships, build team spirit and reflect on the many lessons they had received throughout the camp. ⛰️🌿

Today, we brought the camp to a joyful conclusion with the presentation of certificates of participation to our dedicated young people. 🏆📜 Their certificates are a reminder of four days of learning, growth, discipline, fellowship and meaningful experiences.

Under the theme drawn from Romans 12:2 — “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind,” our young people were challenged to make positive choices, stand firm in their Christian values and become a positive influence in the world around them.

We are deeply grateful to Goodwill Ambassadors of Hope, in partnership with PC Eloumden, under the supervision of Rev. Fomuso Sama, for making this initiative possible.

Special appreciation goes to our facilitators, parents and guardians, volunteers, kitchen team, organizers and everyone who contributed to making the camp a success. ❤️🙏🏽

Above all, we give all glory to Almighty God for His protection, provision and guidance throughout the entire programme.

The camp may be over, but the mission continues. May the lessons learned, friendships created and skills acquired continue to bear fruit in the lives of these young people.

🌱 We learned. We grew. We bonded. We were transformed.

📢 YOUTH CAMP 2026 | DAY 1 & 2 HIGHLIGHTS 📢

EMPOWERED YOUTH: LIVING FOR CHRIST IN A CHANGING WORLD ✝️🌍

GWAH Cameroon, in partnership with The Presbyterian Church Eloumden, is pleased to share highlights from the first two days of our ongoing Youth Camp.
The camp is providing a meaningful platform for young people to learn, reflect, develop practical skills, strengthen their faith, and build positive relationships as they prepare to navigate the realities of a rapidly changing world.
Some KEY LESSONS & ACTIVITIES
Pregnancy, Abstinence & STIs
Promoting awareness, responsible decision-making, and healthy choices among young people.
Social Ills Amongst Youth & Their Consequences
Creating awareness of the social challenges affecting young people and examining the consequences of harmful choices and behaviours.
EMPOWERING THE NEXT GENERATION
The first two days have demonstrated that youth empowerment goes beyond academic knowledge. It involves nurturing young people spiritually, socially, emotionally, and practically so they can make responsible decisions and positively impact their communities.
Through this partnership, GWAH Cameroon and The Presbyterian Church Eloumden are investing in a generation of young people who are equipped to face contemporary challenges while remaining firmly grounded in Christian values.
🙏🏽 We thank God for the progress made so far and appreciate all the facilitators, leaders, volunteers, parents, and participants who are contributing to the success of this camp.
The journey continues… and there is still much more to learn, experience, and celebrate! 🔥

WOMEN LEADING CHANGE FOR PEACE, JUSTICE & INCLUSIVE DEVELOPMENT

Over 400 women from different regions of Cameroon gathered at the NEWOLEC Conference under the theme:

“Women-Led Organisations as Catalysts for Peace, Inclusive Development and Gender Justice.”

Held under the patronage of the Ministry of Women’s Empowerment and the Family, with the support of the World Food Programme (WFP) and UN Women, the conference provided a powerful platform for dialogue, learning, networking, and collective action.
The Executive Director of Goodwill Ambassadors of Hope (GWAH) Cameroon, was honoured to moderate the session on Women as Catalysts for Peacebuilding a timely conversation on women’s leadership, community resilience, conflict prevention, and the importance of including women in peace processes.
The conference also addressed Gender Justice and GBV, emphasizing the importance of knowing our rights, speaking up, seeking support, and holding perpetrators accountable.
Discussions on Inclusive Development and Women’s Economic Empowerment highlighted the need to support women entrepreneurs to formalize their businesses, protect their intellectual property, and build sustainable livelihoods.
Women are not merely beneficiaries of change. We are leaders, peacebuilders, advocates, entrepreneurs, and catalysts for transformation.
Together, let us continue to amplify women’s voices and build a more peaceful, inclusive and just Cameroon.

Our Executive Director is honored to be participating in the Public Procurement & Contract Management Executive Leadership Forum organized by the Advanced Institute for Supply Chain Research (AISCR) from 24–26 June 2026 at Djeuga Palace Hotel, Yaoundé.
Under the theme “From Compliance to Public Value,” this forum is providing valuable insights into public procurement, contract management, supply chain systems, accountability, transparency, and value creation in public service.
As a humanitarian practitioner and community development advocate, I recognize the critical importance of efficient procurement and supply chain management in ensuring that resources reach intended beneficiaries in a timely, transparent, and cost-effective .
It was an opportunity to learn from experts, exchange experiences with professionals and strengthen my capacity to contribute more effectively to humanitarian action, women’s empowerment and community development initiatives.
