Shooting Star Organization - SHOSA created Miss Fashion Festival Africa - Miffa to showcase and spark youths to carry out community projects to better themselves and their environment

Taking a bold step toward social change, Miss Ntube Ashley kicked off her project campaign, "Combating Body Shaming and Peer Pressure" in an engaging session held within her faith community (St. Jude Thaddeus Nkongsamba). She addressed the emotional toll of body shaming and provided practical tools for building unshakeable self-confidence. By fostering an interactive and stress-relieving environment, she encouraged her peers to embrace "the skin in which they live in" and reject the harmful standards of peer pressure.

Central to her message was the power of acceptance, urging every young person to celebrate their own unique journey. She also emphasized the importance of self-assurance, teaching the youth to trust their own abilities and judgment regardless of societal noise. She concludes that building self-confidence isn't just a goal; but a daily commitment to self love✨

Shooting Star Organization - SHOSA continues its programs through the creation of a 6-day residential project Miss Fashion Festival Africa - Miffa

I carried out an awareness campaign on STIS/STDS prevention among Level 1 students at a higher education institution in Douala. The session focused on basic education, prevention methods, responsible decision-making, and self-respect. The campaign aimed to promote healthy choices and reduce misinformation among young people.
