Violence “at home” doesn’t stay at home.

When violence happens within families or relationships, it affects more than the person experiencing it. Children are affected. Families are affected. Entire communities are affected.

Domestic violence is not a “private family matter” to be ignored or swept under the carpet.

We must speak up, support survivors, and take action to prevent violence.

Because every home should be a place of safety, dignity and respect and not fear.

Love shouldn't hurt.

Violence grows when we normalize it, excuse it, or choose to ignore it.

Prevention begins with recognizing violence, speaking up about it, and taking action.

We all have a role to play in preventing violence and creating homes, schools, workplaces and communities where everyone can live with dignity and safety.

Recognize it.
Talk about it.
Act against it.

When women have access to decent work, skills, resources and livelihood opportunities, they can strengthen their resilience, make decisions about their lives, and seek support when facing violence or difficult circumstances.

A safe home is more than just a roof over our heads. It is a place where every man, woman, and child feels loved, respected, protected, heard, and valued.

Every family member deserves to live free from fear, violence, abuse, and intimidation. Every child deserves to grow up in a nurturing environment where they can learn, dream, and thrive. Every woman and every man deserve relationships built on mutual respect, equality, trust, and care.

Creating an emotionally safe home begins with the choices we make every day from choosing respect over insults, to dialogue over aggression, empathy over judgment, and love over fear.

Strong families are built on trust. Safe homes begin with respect. Together, let's create homes where everyone can flourish.

Les violences entre partenaires intimes ne sont jamais une affaire privée.

Elles constituent une violation des droits humains et ont des conséquences profondes sur les survivantes, les enfants, les familles et les communautés. Le silence, les croyances erronées et la banalisation de ces violences ne font que les perpétuer.

Ensemble, remettons en question les normes et les mythes qui les entretiennent, et construisons des familles fondées sur le respect, l'égalité, le dialogue et la non-violence.

Brisons le silence. Déconstruisons les mythes. Soutenons les survivantes. Agissons ensemble pour mettre fin aux violences entre partenaires intimes.

Gender equality is a human fight, not a female fight.

Gender equality benefits everyone. When women and girls are safe, educated, and empowered, families thrive, communities grow stronger, and societies prosper.

This is not a fight for women alone. It calls on men, boys, women, girls, communities, and leaders to stand together, challenge harmful stereotypes, promote equal opportunities, and end all forms of gender based violence.

Equality is everyone's responsibility. Together, we can build a world where every person is treated with dignity, respect, and fairness.

Nous grandissons tous avec des idées sur ce que les femmes, les hommes, les filles et les garçons « doivent » être ou faire. Mais lorsque ces idées favorisent l'inégalité, le contrôle ou la domination, elles peuvent ouvrir la porte aux violences.

En remettant en question ces normes néfastes, nous favorisons le respect, l'égalité et des relations plus saines.

Ensemble, construisons des communautés où chacun peut vivre en sécurité, dans la dignité et sans violence.

Les violences basées sur le genre ne concernent pas seulement les victimes. Elles touchent des familles, des voisins, des amis et toute la communauté. La bonne nouvelle, c'est que chacun de nous peut contribuer à faire la différence.

Le changement commence par de petits gestes, répétés chaque jour. Ensemble, faisons de nos communautés des espaces où chacun peut vivre en sécurité, dans le respect et la dignité.
