Last week at our Head Office, we hosted transformative educational orientation and counseling sessions aimed at advancing SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 8 (Decent Work), SDG 11 (Sustainable Communities), and SDG 1 (No Poverty). Over 150 students and young professionals engaged in workshops on career pathways, skill development, and sustainable livelihood strategies, equipping them with tools to thrive in competitive job markets. Our counselors provided personalized guidance to bridge educational gaps and align aspirations with emerging opportunities, while panel discussions highlighted the role of education in breaking poverty cycles and fostering inclusive growth.
We partnered with local schools and NGOs to emphasize community-driven solutions for urban sustainability and equitable access to learning resources. Together, we’re building a future where education fuels both personal success and collective resilience.

On Friday the 4th of July 2025 UNIBETA Peace and Development Organization (UNIPEDEV) successfully organized a career orientation program at its office conference hall at Acienne Sixieme, Etoudi in Yaoundé, Center Region, Cameroon. This program was designed to guide and support students who recently sat for their GCE Advanced Level Examinations and are currently awaiting their results.
The initiative aligns with UNIPEDEV’s mission to promote peace and sustainable community development through education, empowerment and humanitarian interventions.
The program recorded an impressive turnout of twenty five (25) students for the first phase and all who are potential candidates for higher education and vocational skills training. The students expressed enthusiasm and actively participated in all sessions.
The main objective of the career orientation program were to
• To guide students in making informed decisions about their career path after GCE A-Levels results.
• Presents UNIPEDEV’s scholarship opportunities, showcasing the organization’s commitment to community development and support for underprivileged yet deserving students.
• Introduce vocational training programs to holiday makers as an alternative and complementary path towards academic and professional excellence.
We are excited to announce the expansion of our scholarship program to include students from Yaoundé, Cameroon. For the first time, students from the center region will have the opportunity to benefit from this initiative, which has been a cornerstone activity for years.
This development comes as the heels of our recent branch opening in Yaoundé, which has enabled us to extend our reach and support to the local community.

The UNIBETA Peace and Development Organization (UNIPEDEV), in partnership with the National Institute of Agriculture, Medical and Developmental Sciences (NAMEDIS), successfully hosted a 2-day regional workshop on Project Management, Strategic, and Business Planning. The event was organized under the theme "Leading Organizations, Businesses, and Projects to Success," brought together experts and participants to share knowledge and best practices.

With seasoned facilitators delivering comprehensive presentations, the workshop provided valuable insights and skills to participants. The 2-day intensive training was well-received, and attendees departed with enhanced capabilities and a renewed sense of purpose. The collaboration between UNIPEDEV and NAMEDIS underscored the importance of capacity building in driving organizational and business success.
