HSUVI Retreat at PCC Musang, Bamenda

On Saturday June 27th our HSUVI family gathered for a day of God’s Word, prayer, and forgiveness.

Scriptures we meditated on:
John 3:3-7 “You must be born again.” A call to a renewed heart to see, serve, and love as God does.

Romans 12:21 “Overcome evil with good.” We choose dignity over stigma and compassion over neglect.
John 15:3 “You are already clean because of the word.” God’s word purifies us for the mission.

Mark 11:22-25 “Have faith in God… and forgive.” Faith moves mountains, and forgiveness sets our hearts free to pray and serve.

Luke 11:11-13 “The Father will give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!” We asked God for wisdom and strength to care well.
Mark 6:7, 12-13 Sent out to heal. Like the disciples, we go together with authority to bring care and restoration.

We ended with a powerful prayer session, lifting up HSUVI, our residents, staff, donors, and the disability community.

“Lord, make us born again in purpose, rooted in faith, free through forgiveness, and faithful in service.”

Yesterday, Hope Social Union for the Visually Impaired Bamenda held its May monthly meeting in an atmosphere of unity and encouragement. We were delighted to award scholarships to our youngest member and pupil, Amabo Zemira, and Kini Lambrice, a secondary school student.

These scholarships were made possible through funds raised from the New African Impact Fund, whose support continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of visually impaired persons.

As part of our ongoing local resource mobilization, we warmly invite individuals and well-wishers to support our mission so that more visually impaired children and students can benefit from educational assistance and scholarships. Every contribution counts and creates hope for a brighter future.
