We gathered at Bayele Catholic Mission Hall yesterday for our general assembly. After the meeting, we paid tribute to the incredible Dr. Elizabeth Cockburn, a champion of inclusivity and advocate for persons with disabilities who left us on Dec 14, 2025.

Born on November 18, 1934, Dr. Cockburn dedicated her life to making a difference. She was the mother of our partner and member Dr. Lynn Cockburn. We celebrated her legacy with soulful HSUVI njang 🎶, a moving musical interlude, and a heartfelt reading of her biography 📚. Our president shared powerful words, and we closed with refreshments and sweet memories.

Rest in peace, Dr. Cockburn. Your impact lives on! 💖
