Funding body: United States Government through Common Folks Global Outreach (CFGO)
Proposal coverage: West, East, Central Africa
Common Folks Global Outreach (CFGO)_ formerly Average Mohamed Organization_, USA, in collaboration with Silver Lining Africa (SiLA), Cameroon, is currently receiving projects proposals (themes listed below) from organizations only (registered or yet to be) from West, East, and Central Africa. The deadline for reception via mail, [email protected], is December 5, 2024.
Submit projects aimed at bettering communities such as promoting peace, development, sustainability, accountability, and resilience in your communities.
Our target is 50 projects selected on basis of their range of impact, feasibility, and promotion of positive peace (see Institute of Economics and Peace eight pillars of positive peace: https://www.economicsandpeace.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Positive-Peace-Implementation-Guide-web.pdf). Full proposal should also include a budget and timeline of implementation. Note that the timeline may shift based on funding period. Selected project will receive funding on a rolling basis beginning July 2025.
