The young are not just the leaders of tomorrow they are the peace advocates of today. It is truly inspiring to see them continue to promote peace, unity, and social cohesion despite the many challenges they face daily. Through dialogue, tolerance, and positive action, they are choosing to rise above violence and division to become powerful voices of hope and change within their communities.

Their courage, resilience, and determination remind us that a peaceful future is possible when young people are empowered to lead conversations on harmony, understanding, and coexistence. Investing in youth means investing in a generation of peace ambassadors committed to building stronger, safer, and more united communities for all.

Prevention from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) remains a collective responsibility in every community and workplace.

Every individual deserves to live in dignity, safety, and respect, free from all forms of exploitation, abuse, and harassment. Through awareness raising, accountability, and strengthened reporting mechanisms, we can help create safer environments and uphold the rights and protection of vulnerable populations.

Together, let us continue to promote a culture of zero tolerance against sexual exploitation and abuse.

Through our Peace and Social Cohesion Project, we have successfully established Peace Clubs in over 10 schools across the North West and South West Regions of Cameroon.

These clubs serve as safe spaces for young people to learn, promote dialogue, and champion peaceful coexistence within their communities. We remain committed to raiing a new generation of Peace Ambassadors who will stand as voices for unity, tolerance, and lasting peace in our country because peace is not just a choice, it is a necessity.

We were honored to welcome representatives from the European Union, sponsors of our Child Protection Project, during their visit to one of our Child Friendly Space in Bamuka, Ndop yesterday.

The visit was carried out alongside our partners, Plan International, and provided a valuable opportunity to showcase ongoing activities and share firsthand insights into how the project is positively impacting children and families in the community. Through interactive sessions and discussions with facilitators and beneficiaries, the team gained a deeper understanding of the progress made, as well as areas for continued support and improvement.

We remain committed to creating safe, inclusive spaces where children can learn, play, and thrive. We appreciate the European Union and Plan International for their continued partnership and support in advancing child protection efforts.
