Sexual abuse against women and children is not a private family matter.
It is not something to hide because of shame, tradition, fear, or the reputation of the perpetrator.
A child cannot consent to sexual abuse.
A woman does not owe anyone her body.
Silence does not protect victims—it protects abusers.
In Cameroon, we must stop normalizing, hiding, excusing, and settling cases of sexual violence behind closed doors.
Protect the child.
Believe the survivor.
Expose the abuser.
Hold perpetrators accountable.
