🚨 A National Emergency: Protect the Girl Child! 🚨

In just a few days, innocent children have been r***d in Cameroon.

Children are not toys. They are not for abuse. They are not yours to harm! Yet every day, girls suffer sexual violence, and justice too often fails them.

Where are the laws protecting our children? Why are perpetrators still free? We demand justice now!

🌸 International Women’s Day

Today we celebrate the strength, resilience, and achievements of women and girls everywhere. But celebration must also come with reflection. Across many communities, women and girls still face violence, discrimination, and the rising reality of feminicides.

At She Can Excel, we believe empowering girls means creating a world where they can live, learn, and lead safely and with dignity.

On this International Women’s Day, we reaffirm our commitment to empowering girls, raising awareness, and standing against all forms of violence against women and girls.

Because every girl deserves the chance to excel.

Gurrrrrrllll, Take some time to have fun.
Rest your mind.
Laugh a little.

Depression is real, and so is the need to step away, breathe, and connect with others. Sometimes, healing looks like a picnic, shared stories, colors on a canvas, and moments of joy.

Your mental well-being matters. Always. 💛

After a very stressful year, we all need a pause. A moment to breathe. A space to reflect.

Through our Girl Glow Picnic 2.0, girls came together to reflect on the year, express their emotions, and reconnect with themselves in a safe and supportive space. Through painting, conversations, and shared moments, they reimagined what the new year could look like with hope, clarity, and intention.

It was a reminder that mental well-being matters, and that creating time for rest, reflection, and self-expression is not a luxury, but a necessity.

At She Can Excel, we remain committed to creating spaces where girls feel seen, heard, and empowered to grow.

As part of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence, She Can Excel in partnership with Good Shepherd Academy Bafut, Camerooon virtuous women AssociationCanadian Vigorous Women, and other partner organizations, engaged students and community members in a sensitization and empowerment session focused on technology for women’s empowerment.

Through an interactive discussion on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), Ngong Anita explored what STEM entails, the need to intentionally support women and girls in STEM, and the critical role women’s participation plays in sustainable development, innovation, and social inclusion.

The session also served as a platform to highlight the work of She Can Excel, reinforcing our commitment to equipping girls and young women with the skills, confidence, and opportunities needed to thrive in STEM and beyond.

This partnership engagement marked a meaningful wrap-up of the 16 Days of Activism, reaffirming our shared commitment to gender equality, empowerment, and inclusive development.

Girls must rise. Girls must lead. Girls must excel. ✨

In partnership with The Girl Charge Yosimbom Jania We proudly served as the pioneer sponsors of the Harbloom Career Fair 2025, held in commemoration of the International Day of the Girl Child, bringing together 174 girls and young women.

The career fair created a safe and inspiring space to explore opportunities, receive career guidance, and connect with mentors shaping change across different fields.

At She Can Excel, we believe that when girls are empowered with knowledge, skills, and exposure, they are better positioned to lead, thrive, and excel. This partnership reflects our continued commitment to advancing girls’ education, leadership, and career development.

We are grateful to the Girl Charge team, speakers, volunteers, and every girl who showed up ready to dream and take bold steps toward her future. 💜

Today, we join the world to UNiTE to End Digital Violence Against All Women and Girls.

Digital violencebullying, threats, harassment, and non-consensual sharing of images silences too many women and girls.

The image we share reflects this reality hands covering mouths, voices held back. But we refuse to be silenced. At SheCanExcel, we raise our voices to break the silence and create safer online spaces for all women and girls.

No woman should be silenced online or offline.
