Many people still carry a lot of misconceptions about what purpose really is. If you're one of them, read this with keen attention.

In its simplest form, your purpose is your contribution to making the world better.

Purpose is not always a microphone. It's not always a stage. It's not always millions of followers or building a global company.

Sometimes purpose looks much simpler than that.

The teacher who helps a struggling student believe in themselves is living a life of purpose.

The nurse who treats every patient with compassion is living a life of purpose.

The entrepreneur who creates jobs and helps families earn a living is living a life of purpose.

The parent who raises children with strong values is living a life of purpose.

The mentor who freely shares knowledge so that others can grow is living a life of purpose.

Purpose is less about being known and more about being useful.

Many people spend years asking, "What is my purpose?" when a better question might be, "Whose life am I making better?"

Your purpose is often found where your gifts meet someone else's needs.

If you can solve problems, create value, bring hope, teach, heal, lead, encourage, or serve, then you're already walking in your purpose.

You don't have to wait until you become wealthy, famous, or "successful" before you begin living purposefully.

Start with where you are. Use what you have. Serve the people in front of you.

As you continue to grow, your influence may expand, but the foundation of purpose remains the same:

Leave people, communities, and the world better than you found them.

That's what purpose looks like in everyday life.
