DAY 2: S*X EDUCATE YOUR CHILD

Reasons why parents delay S*x Education
👉 They feel embarrassed and uncomfortable talking about s*x
👉 Most parents do not know what to say nor how to put it
👉 They assume that others will teach their children (teachers, caregivers, etc)
👉 Parents see their children as babies and innocent

It was emphasized that:
- S*x education is a continues activity, not a one time conversation. Reason why the best time to start s*x educating your child is from birth/ or even before conception

How to know s*x education is effective?
- Your child will give you feedback
- You will notice how it protects them from peer pressure
- They take the education as an empowerment to protect their purity with integrity, not fear

How do you go about s*x education?
- Always start by asking so you can situate what they already know
- Correct and provide facts with clarity. If not sure of an answer, agenda the conversation and make sure to give an answer
- Give room for questions and make sure to answer the questions

peacebuilding begins with empathy

Peacebuilding initiative takes several forms which includes gender advocacy, environmental protection, promotion of the respect of human rights, education and more. Live and Help Live Association (LHL) a peacebuilding organization in her 5th edition of the promotion of mass education organized a back to school campaign with children of basic and secondary schools in Balikumbat municipality this September 2026. Under the theme; Menstrual Hygiene Awareness for the promotion of girls Academic performance, young people before parents and guardians got talks on the importance of Education, methods of environmental protection, s*x education and menstrual hygiene. To crown the day didactic materials were distributed to pupils and students and a plastic bowl each to the parents in attendence.
LHL Association extends heartfelt gratitude to all peace lovers who support her vision and contributed financially, materially and morally to the success story of this venture. Thank you, Mercie, njika ✌️

*10/7/2020 to 10/7/2026 I celebrate 6years of a terminal degree in political history.*
With strong and increasing interest in research around conflict transformation and peace building, I have been working to touch lives of people negatively affected by violent conflicts through organizing peace rallies, supporting women in rural areas affected by wars or gender base violence with farm inputs, sponsoring health campaigns, promoting mass education through donation of didactics material to vulnerable children, organizing workshops, conferences and publishing articles in different journals on different themes with objective of solving societal problems and building peace.
This drive to work for conflict transformation and peacebuilding has moved me to have national and international experiences. TODAY I AM JUST UP TO THANK GOD ALMIGHTY FOR HIS ENDLESS BLESSINGS TO MY PERSON. I REMAIN HIS HUMBLE CREATURE🙏 AMEN

*My Peace Caravan*
As a response to an invitation from CWA Our Lady of Fatima Zone in Futru deanery-Bamenda to educate members on Christian parenting of children, I was previlleged to do a presentation this day 15/3/26 on the

Theme: *"Peace Parenting in Contemporary Society*"

An understanding of the theme: Peace for us is guarantee of security to school/work, love, comfort, food availability and trust. Parenting in our context I providing maximum care over kids under us be they our biological or relative kids while contemporary society represent our community today.

*Good parenting:*
Provide psychological or moral wealth to the children .
-Provide money for children's school fees, apprenticeship or other trade they are ready to engage in.
-Provide material needs including sanitary pads, innerwares, food and study materials
-Participate in your child study life. Seek to find out what the child studies and opportunities that awaits them upon graduation then guide them even through a counselor to make better choices
-Represent Christ Jesus in their lives. Lead the children to God through doctrine, prayer, life examples and scriptural exposure
-Forgive and ask for forgiveness, encourage reconciliation beginning from the family cycle
-Practice fare play and treat children equally

*Wrong Parenting*
-Child Abuse: Excessive beating leading to wounds on the child, putting loads on a child's head that is heavier than the child or above his age strength, starving a child as punishment,,,
-Condemnation or Bad mop on a child which makes them loose self esteem. Eg insulting a child as useless or good for nothing.
-S*xual harassment: This includes touching their private parts (breast, a**s, buttocks, p***s or va**na) or kissing their lips. Children suffer from s*xual harassment from home/relatives and often the perpetrators remain protected over the child's innocence.

- *In peace parenting, stretch helping hands to vulnerable children in your community who can and will be a source of danger to your prosperous kids tomorrow. Contribute to remove a child from the street and you build sustainable peace*

May I urge and encourage all the youths to write well qualifying business plans at standard levels to test this promise to them by the head of state when the billions are made available in the hands of the managers with the money. They should get ready to submit when the time comes.
