It's time that time of the year again! This year, we UNiTE to End Digital Violence Against All Women and Girls. It should be noted that, the digital world should be a place of connection and growth, not fear or abuse. Yet, technology is too often used as a weapon to stalk, harass, and silence women and girls especially those with physical impairments whose voices are already marginalized. This abuse moves quickly and causes real and painful harm offline.

Today, we invite you to join the Hands Together with the Physically Impaired Association and other partner organizations for a vital webinar during the 16 Days of Activism. We will share essential tools for digital safety, discuss how to recognize online abuse, and strategize on how to hold platforms accountable. Let’s build an online space where every woman and girl can feel safe, respected, and heard. Your voice is needed!

Few weeks back, was a remarkable one for me as it gave me the privilege to connect and reconnect with GBV experts and collaborators in a training organised by the UNFPA Cameroon. As team lead of HaTPhI, I actively participated in this training particularly, the group sessions and the training highlighted elements on Project Cycle management, security risk assessment, strengthening sustainable and resilient civil society and women led organisations etc. Worthy of note is the fact that, this training had participants from the Northwest and Southwest Regions of Cameroon.

At the symposium, experts elaborated the components of the National Action Plan on Youth Peace and Security and the importance of this document to youth peaceful initiatives.
