Hello Fam🤗,
With the rapid growth of technology in today’s world, we cannot afford to shy away from using Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the workplace. However, as we embrace its possibilities, we must also understand how to use it responsibly.
RADA recently held a session on “Responsible Use of AI in the Workplace,” facilitated by the CEO, Mr. Ferdinant M. Sonyuy, with staff, volunteers and interns all in attendance. The session explored professional prompt engineering and the mannerism we instruct AI can shape the quality of the results we seek to receive.
Participants also reflected on the benefits of using AI effectively, including faster drafting and structured outlines, idea generation and brainstorming, summarizing lengthy documents, language and clarity checks, scenario exploration and maintaining consistency in routine documentation.
At the same time, the session highlighted the risks of irresponsible AI use, including blind trust in AI outputs, fabricated facts and references, sensitive data leakage, low-quality work being masked by fluent language, reputational damage and the loss of critical thinking skills.
The key takeaway was clear: AI is already part of the workplace; the question is not whether we use it, but how responsibly we use it.
As we continue to embrace technology, the usage of AI will keep serving as a tool to support, not replace, human judgment, creativity, critical thinking, and professional responsibility.
How are you using AI?
