My daughter Annie is currently part of a research team in Belize, where they are conducting trail and camera maintenance while collecting data on pumas and jaguars.

She shared a photo with me today which, highlights Rotary's global presence. We will be there to serve and enjoy ourselves, often while raising funds in the process.

I'm thrilled for Tina, her club, and the transformative impact she'll make as she embarks on this new chapter.

What an extraordinary conclusion to the 2026 convention, filled with uplifting music, vibrant dance and empowering speeches, particularly from President-nominee Larry Lunsford, President-elect Olayinka Hakeem Babalola, and a heartwarming and funny finale from President Francesco Arezzo.

Getting ready for the convention’s closing session.

Here was a powerful insight… John Hewko’s compelling discussion on Rotary’s role in combating the loneliness crisis mirrors my District Governor’s “stump speech” from last year. Interestingly, I’m working on an essay on this vital topic that could have nicely complemented his speech.
