Seeking the Andean Cat

Seeking the Andean Cat This project seeks to develop conservation awareness of the Andean cat on local communities and people around the world.

Conservationists, communication experts, local people, and wildlife advocates have joined together to develop conservation awareness of the Andean cats around the world. The Andean cat is one of the least known and most unique wildcats on Earth and is the only cat listed as endangered in the Americas. It is time that people around the world get a look into the secretive world -- and the survival difficulties -- of this beautiful cat from the Andes Mountains.
