Happy 30th Anniversary to all past, present, and upcoming members of IESA.
The International English Spanish Association of La Serena began in the late 90's as a way for members to interact, assist and create community between (mostly, but not exclusively) foreigners, and the community of La Serena.
Over the last 30 years IESA has helped many charities and organisations by providing much needed assistance in the form of anything from diapers to ovens, gardening equipment to stunning handmade scarves and beanies.

If you speak English (and for those who think they don't speak well, we even have an English practice group who meets weekly! For Free!) or those who wish to know more, please comment on this post and we will be in contact.

In the meantime, many thanks to the current Directorate, and all previous ones who have helped steer this magnificent ship to where it is now. Here's to many more decades of IESA - International English Spanish Association

Our amazing members have been diligently fundraising through the year, and one of the beneficiaries is Las Damas Rojo!

Junto con saludar afectuosamente queremos expresar nuestro mas sincero agradecimiento por la generosa donacion de pañales adulto a los pacientes de escasos recursos del Hospital de La Serena.
Su apoyo representa un gesto profundo de solidaridad y humanidad que impacta directamente en el bienestar de quienes mas lo necesitan. Gracias a su compromiso podemos brindar una atencion mas digna y aliviar parte de las necesidades que enfrentan nuestros enfermos y sus familias.
En nombre del Voluntariado Damas de Rojo reiteramos nuestros agradecimientos y colaboracion.
Esperamos que esta cadena solidaria perdure en el tiempo para una una estadia digna a los enfermos hospitalizado de escasos recursos.

Today members of IESA were delighted to attend the 155th birthday celebration of Colegio Villa San Bartolomé
