MLK Day is an American federal holiday marking the birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr.
King was the chief spokesman for nonviolent activism in the civil rights movement that took place in the United States during the 1960s. The movement, led by Mr. King, successfully protested racial discrimination in federal and state law. Find out more below:
