🚨🚨DON’T PANIC! It’s just a test.🚨🚨

Switzerland's annual nationwide siren test will take place TOMORROW - Wednesday, February 4, 2025, at 13:30.

The "General Alarm" (one-minute rising and falling tone) will be tested first, followed by the "Water Alarm" in dam areas.

No action is required, but residents are encouraged to check the Alertswiss app for emergency updates. This test ensures the functionality of 7,200 sirens, with 99% reliability in 2024.

The Federal Office for Civil Protection urges reviewing personal emergency plans and supplies for preparedness.

Don’t know anyone else who is expecting in your circle? Need to find your tribe? 👀

We meet twice a month (one evening and one morning).

Our current 2025 cohort has over 200 international and Swiss mums and the WhatsApp chat is very active and it will no doubt be the same for 2026.

Head over to our private FB group and get access to our 2026 WhatsApp community where you can ask questions, find answers and receive support from us and the other mamas as you travel this new path.
