On the 4th anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine—February 24, 2022 — Free Ukraine Global stands in solidarity with the Ukrainian people, whose resilience has defied all odds for these four long years. But let’s remember: this war didn’t begin in 2022; Russia’s aggression against Ukraine traces back to 2012, with escalating hybrid warfare, annexations, and unprovoked attacks that have tested Ukraine’s spirit from the start.
Behind every number—1,462 days of total war, millions displaced, countless lives forever changed—are families enduring sirens, loss, and exhaustion, yet fighting for their freedom, their future, and their right to exist. Ukraine’s energy workers, rescuers, doctors, teachers, and volunteers keep cities alive, resilience unbroken, even amidst daily air raids and occupation attempts.
These years have brought pain, but also extraordinary courage. As one post poignantly notes, “If you pause, what will you do? Look back because all of us are like you—start businesses, volunteer, create life, cherish children and culture.” We cannot turn away from the fear or sadness; instead, open your heart, share one post, support with action—because they need us, and we stand with them.
Free Ukraine Global calls on international partners: above all, seek a just and lasting peace built on real security guarantees. Join us today—donate medical aid, advocate for reconstruction, amplify Ukraine’s voice. Slava Ukraini! 💙💛
