"The idea for GenerationsGarten was born when I realized that every time I pass by some elderly people with my 2-year old daughter, their sometimes "empty" faces all of a sudden brighten up and a breeze of life suddenly re-appears. I realized that if I can somehow institutionalize these kind of interactions - something that is becoming less and less evident in our aging society where mutli-generat

ional households become a rarity - that I could make a major contribution to the well-being and mental health of the elderly. In addition, I realized that it is crucial for our society that young children learn the interaction with and respect for elderly people. Therefore, GenerationsGarten is an evident case that creates a win-win scenario and tackles some of the biggest challenges that the 21st century society is facing - the widening inter-generational gap"
