What happens when two values-driven business communities come together? New connections, new perspectives and, hopefully, new collaborations. 🤝💚

On 14 October, Vegan Business Circle Budapest is teaming up with Csak a Mentes for a special Business Breakfast at MagNet Community House, just before the Csak a Mentes Conference.

Csak a Mentes is a Hungarian platform and community built around conscious, “free-from” living, bringing together businesses and consumers interested in vegan, allergen-free, sustainable and health-conscious products and services. Through its events and professional community, it has created an important meeting point for brands and entrepreneurs working in this rapidly growing market.

For VBC, this collaboration is particularly valuable because our communities naturally overlap, but they are not identical. Bringing them together creates an opportunity for entrepreneurs to step outside their usual circles, meet potential partners with complementary expertise and audiences, and discover collaborations that might otherwise never happen.

That's exactly why structured business networking will be at the heart of the morning. Rather than leaving valuable connections to chance, we'll create a framework that helps participants understand who is in the room, what they can offer each other and where there may be real opportunities to work together.

What does it take to run a care home where every meal is 100% plant-based? 🌱
Our September guest at Vegan Business Circle Zurich is Anja Glivar, who runs Switzerland's first fully plant-based care home for the elderly.

And the demand is enormous.

Anja is now working on building a network of plant-based care homes, turning an idea that once seemed highly unconventional into a growing business model.

At our next Business Evening, she'll take us behind the scenes: How does a fully plant-based care home work in practice? How do you provide older people with nutritious, satisfying meals without animal products? And what does it take to make the model work operationally?

It's a fascinating example of how plant-based businesses can enter sectors where vegan options have traditionally been almost non-existent, while responding to a very real and growing demand.

New faces, new connections and plenty of practical tips for more effective networking. 💚

On 16 September, the Budapest Vegan Business Circle community came together again at Tranzit by Flow, with several new guests joining us for the first time.

The morning's keynote was delivered by Csaba Péntek, founder of Vegan Business Circle, who shared practical tips on how to build and nurture business relationships more intentionally and get more value from the connections we make within a business community.

Alongside learning, there was plenty of time for new introductions, conversations and exchanging experiences, while Tranzit by Flow once again took care of our vegan breakfast. 🌱

A new country is joining the Vegan Business Circle map. Welcome, Montenegro! 🇲🇪💚

Earlier this summer, we took our first step in Montenegro with an informal VBC gathering in Podgorica. Now it's time for the next one – and this time, we're making it official.

On 24 September, Bar will host the first official Vegan Business Circle Montenegro Breakfast. We are very grateful that the local chapter in Montenegro is bed by such an enthusiastic entrepreneur like Sanja Bodiroga.

It will be a morning for entrepreneurs, business owners and decision-makers who want to meet like-minded people, exchange knowledge and discover new opportunities for collaboration in Montenegro's growing purpose-driven business community.

At our latest Vegan Business Circle evening in Zurich, that's exactly what we did.

Together with Tim, Joni and Luis from letim.cook, we explored how Gen Z thinks about brands, businesses and communication – from the perspective of people who don't just understand this generation, but are part of it.

The conversation was only one part of the evening. As always, some of the most valuable moments happened around it: new introductions, ideas exchanged and conversations that may continue well beyond the event.

For Moby veganism isn't simply a lifestyle choice – it's a moral issue. But what role can business play in all this? 💚

A few weeks ago, we had a very special opportunity to interview Moby following his concert in Budapest. He has been vegan for nearly four decades and, as an activist, has consistently worked for animal liberation.

Moby is also an experienced businessman. He founded his own production company, opened a restaurant, and has been involved in numerous projects where business, purpose, and positive social impact come together.

We talked about animal rights and the future of veganism, the responsibility of artists, as well as how he sees the role of vegan businesses.

We are incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to sit down with him during his visit to Budapest.
