Meet the leader of our Belgrade and Podgorica chapters: Sanja Bodiroga.

Based in Belgrade, Serbia, Sanja is a business operations professional, wellness entrepreneur, mindfulness, yoga and meditation teacher, music creator, and podcast host.

She is the founder of BODIROGA D.O.O. and Yoga Center Sanja Bodiroga – Living Yoga, and is currently building an ambitious new venture that brings together Ayurveda and Western innovation. Her purpose-driven luxury brand focuses on vegan cosmetics, candles, and perfumes, combining premium quality, charitable giving, and frequency-infused formulations in a way that is among the first of its kind in Europe.

Sanja's commitment to conscious living is not just professional – it is deeply personal. This June, she celebrates 20 years of living a vegan lifestyle, a journey that has shaped her approach to business, wellbeing, and leadership.

Passionate about helping people create balance, resilience, and sustainable success, she brings a unique combination of entrepreneurial experience, mindfulness, and purpose-driven thinking to the Vegan Business Circle community.

What started as a local Hungarian community is steadily growing into an international network.

In January, Vegan Business Circle launched in Zurich. In February, the community expanded to Zagreb. In May, we welcomed our first visitors in Belgrade.

And the journey continues.

This July, Vegan Business Circle arrives in Podgorica, bringing together entrepreneurs, business leaders, and professionals who believe that sustainability, collaboration, and conscious business can create lasting value.

What makes us especially proud is that each new city is shaped by local people who share the same vision: building meaningful business relationships in a supportive and values-driven environment.

Meet the leader of the Business Circle Budapest chapter: Katalin Luna Ilauszki.

Luna joined the Vegan Business Circle in 2025 and now leads our community in Budapest.

She is the President of the Vegan Activists Hungary Association and the founder of Plant Based Treaty Hungary. She is also the creator and presenter of Empátia Sztori, an educational program through which thousands of Hungarian students have participated in environmental and animal welfare workshops.

This year, Luna is completing her Psychology degree at Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE), with a particular interest in organisational and workplace psychology.
We are grateful that Luna has taken on this role and are confident that, under her leadership, Hungary's community of entrepreneurs working towards a plant-based future is in excellent hands.

Once again, entrepreneurs, business leaders, and curious minds came together for another inspiring Vegan Business Circle business breakfast at Tranzit by Flow in Budapest.

Our guest speaker for the June event was Kata Orsolya Molnár, communications and marketing consultant, who shared practical insights into the world of creative campaign development. Through a series of real-life examples, she demonstrated how memorable marketing campaigns can be built even without a Hollywood-sized budget.

The presentation explored topics such as where truly great ideas come from, how to find the right partners to bring them to life, and how businesses can stand out in an increasingly crowded communication landscape.

As always, the morning was about more than the presentation itself. New connections were made, conversations sparked, and participants had the opportunity to engage with fellow entrepreneurs in an open and supportive environment.

A special thank you to the team at Tranzit by Flow for hosting us and providing a wonderful 100% plant-based breakfast that perfectly complemented the atmosphere of the event.

Our latest Vegan Business Circle breakfasts in Zagreb and Zurich brought together entrepreneurs, changemakers, and conscious business thinkers for meaningful conversations, new connections, and fresh perspectives.

In Vegan Business Circle Zagreb, our guest speaker Igor Draskovic shared valuable insights on entrepreneurship, investment perspectives, and long-term business thinking in a rapidly changing market environment.

In Zurich, Somara Gantenbein, research associate at ZHAW (Zurich University of Applied Sciences) and environmental psychologist, invited participants into a different kind of session. Rather than delivering a traditional presentation, the focus was on thoughtful questions, genuine dialogue, and meaningful exchanges between participants.

What connected both events was the atmosphere: open conversations, honest exchanges, and a community built around shared values, sustainability, and collaboration. The kind of environment where new ideas emerge naturally, relationships deepen, and conversations continue long after the event itself.

Both events were also joined by Csaba Péntek, founder of Vegan Business Circle, who spent time with the local communities in Zagreb and Zurich, strengthening connections and supporting the continued growth of the VBC network across Europe.

Last week Vegan Business Circle officially arrived in Belgrade.

Our very first Serbian gathering led by Chapter Leader Sanja Bodiroga brought together entrepreneurs, changemakers and conscious business thinkers for an afternoon filled with meaningful conversations, new connections and inspiring perspectives.

During the event, Csaba Péntek, founder of VBC, checked in online and spoke about the power of networking communities and how authentic relationships can evolve into real business opportunities and long-term collaborations.

What made the evening especially exciting was seeing how strongly the local community resonated with the idea of value-driven, sustainability-focused entrepreneurship.

Thank to everyone who spent the evening with us at Paradise Food and helped launch the Belgrade chapter of Vegan Business Circle in such an inspiring way.

This is only the beginning.

At the previous Vegan Business Circle Zurich gathering, Prof. Johanna Gollnhofer opened a question that stayed with many participants long after the event ended: Why do people often know what the better choice is – and still choose differently?

The conversation clearly isn’t over.

The next Zurich event will continue exploring the psychology behind conscious decisions, sustainability and human behaviour together with Somara Gantenbein – research associate at ZHAW (Zurich University of Applied Sciences) and environmental psychologist.
