In ExpoTranskultur bieten wir ein Plattform für Begegnung und Kreativität für Menschen mit unterschiedlichem kulturellen und beruflichen Hintergrund an. // Unser Ziele sind eine inclusive und interkulturelle Gemeinschaft zusammen zu bauen! We promote collaboration among different fields of study, such as visual and performance arts or literature with philosophy, economics, and psychology. Our objective is to reflect on cultural adaptation experiences through exhibitions and other social events and influence perceptions about immigrants in a positive way.

Am 15. September haben wir die Unabhängigkeit Mexikos mit einem köstlichen Pozole gefeiert!
Ein herzliches Dankeschön an María del Mar für dieses leckere Gericht und für das Teilen eines Stücks mexikanischer Küche mit uns.

International Kitchen Lab in collaboration with A Place to Be Together gave us another beautiful morning filled with flavors, stories and community!
A big thank you to Irina for teaching us how to prepare green borscht and delicious roll breadies. It was wonderful to cook together, discover new flavors and share a special moment around the table.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and made this session as special as always!

Das „International Kitchen Lab“ hat uns in Zusammenarbeit mit „A Place to Be Together“ einen weiteren wunderschönen Vormittag voller Aromen, Geschichten und Gemeinschaft beschert!
Ein großes Dankeschön an Irina, die uns gezeigt hat, wie man grünen Borschtsch und leckere Brötchen zubereitet. Es war wunderbar, gemeinsam zu kochen, neue Geschmacksrichtungen zu entdecken und einen besonderen Moment am Tisch zu teilen.

Another beautiful edition of Welttisch!
Let's start with a huge thank you to HuebHof for opening their doors and providing such a wonderful space for our community. To all our amazing cooks, for delighting us with delicious dishes and for sharing a little piece of your culture with us.

To our volunteers for their support behind the scenes, and to everyone who joined us! Thank you for being part of another edition of this wonderful event! We are already looking forward to seeing you next year.

Until then, keep sharing, connecting and bringing your cultures to the table!

Wieder einmal eine wunderschöne Ausgabe von Welttisch!
Zunächst einmal ein riesiges Dankeschön an HuebHof dafür, dass sie uns ihre Türen geöffnet und unserer Gemeinschaft einen so wunderbaren Ort zur Verfügung gestellt haben. What does home taste like?

This Sunday, together with Migros Museum, we gathered around a table filled with flavors, memories and stories as part of Mohamed Bourouissa's exhibition, which explores the many facets of diasporic life and reveals how migration, memory and family shape our identities, both personally and collectively.

Each dish carried something much more than ingredients. It carried the taste of home, the meal your mother or grandmother used to prepare, the recipe that comforts you, the flavors that connect us to our roots no matter where we are in the world.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who brought something to share, for opening your hearts through your memories and stories, and for reminding us that food is one of the most beautiful ways to build community.

Thank you to Migros Museum für Gegenwartskunst for creating this meaningful space and allowing us to be part of such a special experience.

Este domingo, junto con Migros Museum, nos reunimos alrededor de una mesa llena de sabores, memorias e historias como parte de la exposición de Mohamed Bourouissa, la cual explora las distintas facetas de la vida diaspórica y revela cómo la migración, la memoria y la familia moldean nuestra identidad de forma personal y colectiva.

Cada platillo llevaba mucho más que ingredientes. Llevaba el sabor de casa: esa comida que preparaba tu mamá o tu abuela, esa receta que reconforta y esos sabores que nos mantienen cerca de nuestras raíces, sin importar en qué parte del mundo nos encontremos.

Gracias de corazón a todas las personas que trajeron algo para compartir, por abrirnos una parte de su historia, por sus recuerdos y anécdotas, y por hacer de este encuentro una experiencia tan humana y valiosa.

Gracias también a Migros Museum por crear este espacio tan significativo y permitirnos formar parte de él.

Ein herzliches Dankeschön an Honorio Robledo und Lola Maggi, die uns mit Cantares y Contares auf eine wundervolle Reise durch das Herz Mexikos mitgenommen haben. Mit Geschichten, Liedern und mündlichen Traditionen haben sie gezeigt, wie Kultur Menschen über Generationen und Grenzen hinweg verbindet.

Vielen Dank an alle, die diesen besonderen Abend mit uns geteilt haben. Eure Teilnahme hat ihn noch schöner gemacht.

Wir freuen uns darauf, noch viele weitere Momente zu erleben, in denen Kunst, Kultur und Gemeinschaft zusammenkommen.

Food, music and Kitchen Lab brought us together once again at the Zurich archipelago, thanks to KiöR – Public Art Zurich

Thank you to Pepa & Milo for sharing the rich flavours of Bolivia and your amazing energy, and to everyone who joined us to cook, taste, learn and connect. Hanga Séra thank you too for adding the artistic dimension to our menu. It was the perfect finishing touch to a truly memorable evening.

Every week reminds us that the table is one of the best places to discover new cultures and flavours.

Don’t miss our final session, where we’ll travel through the flavours of Peru. We hope to see you there!

Essen, Musik und das Kitchen Lab haben uns dank Kiör erneut im the Zurich archipelago zusammengebracht.

Vielen Dank an Pepa & Milo, dass ihr die vielfältigen Aromen Boliviens und eure unglaubliche Energie mit uns geteilt habt, sowie an alle, die mit uns gekocht, probiert, gelernt und Kontakte geknüpft haben. Hanga Séra, auch dir vielen Dank dafür, dass du unserem Menü eine künstlerische Note verliehen hast. Das war der perfekte Abschluss eines wahrhaft unvergesslichen Abends.

Jede Woche wird uns wieder bewusst, dass der Esstisch einer der besten Orte ist, um neue Kulturen und Geschmacksrichtungen zu entdecken.

Verpasst nicht unsere letzte Veranstaltung, bei der wir eine Reise durch die Geschmackswelten Perus unternehmen werden. Wir hoffen, euch dort zu sehen!
