Wissen Sie, was das ist?

Unsere Baudenkmäler bewahren zahlreiche baukulturelle Besonderheiten. Dazu gehört die in der Region seltene Fassadenmalerei am Belwalder-Gitsch Hüs in Grengiols (VS). Sie verweist auf die Funktion des 1592 erbauten Hauses als einst herrschaftlicher Podestatensitz und zeugt vom kulturellen Einfluss Italiens. Mineralogische Untersuchungen zeigen, dass die Fassade ursprünglich sienafarbene Eckquader mit weissen Trennfugen aufwies, die später durch rebschwarze Diamantquader ersetzt wurden.

Das Haus beinhaltet zwei Ferienwohnungen, die jeweils für bis zu 6 oder 8 Personen gemietet werden können.

Nos bâtiments historiques présentent d’innombrables particularités de la culture du bâti, comme ici cette peinture de façade, plutôt rare dans la région, sur la Belwalder-Gitsch Hüs à Grengiols (VS). Elle indique que la maison, datant de 1592, servait autrefois de résidence du podestat et témoigne de l’influence italienne. Selon des analyses minéralogiques, les premières décorations de la maison consistaient en des chaînages d’angle de couleur sienne avec des joints blancs, remplacés plus t**d par des bossages en losange de couleur noir vigne.

La maison comprend deux appartements de vacances, pouvant être loués pour accueillir jusqu’à 6 ou 8 personnes respectivement.

Do you know what this is?

Our historic buildings display countless architectural and cultural features, such as this façade painting on the Belwalder-Gitsch Hüs in Grengiols (VS), which is rather rare in the region. It shows that the house, dating back to 1592, once served as the residence of a podestat and reflects Italian influence. According to mineralogical studies, the earliest decorations on the house consisted of sienna-coloured corner quoins with white joints, which were later replaced by vine-black diamond-shaped quoins.

The house contains two holiday apartments, which can be rented to accommodate up to 6 or 8 people respectively.

Datant du XVIIe siècle, la Casa Palü a longtemps été utilisée comme tannerie et maison d’habitation, avant de servir de maison de vacances au célèbre artiste Varlin à partir de 1964.

Die aus dem 17. Jahrhundert stammende Casa Palü wurde lange als Gerberei und Wohnhaus genutzt, bevor sie ab 1964 dem bekannten Künstler Varlin als Ferienhaus diente.

Dating back to the 17th century, Casa Palü was used as a tannery and residence for a long time before serving as a holiday home for the well-known artist Varlin from 1964 onwards.

Wissen Sie, was das ist?

Unsere Baudenkmäler zeigen unzählige baukulturelle Eigenheiten auf, wie hier diese schwer zuzuordnende Wandkunst, die im Château de Réchy in Réchy (VS) aufgetaucht ist. Das Wohnhaus wurde im frühen 16. Jahrhundert errichtet. In der Ferienwohnung befindet sich ein Abbild dieser Wandmalerei. Sie ist ein Überbleibsel der ehemaligen Bewohnerinnen und Bewohner des Hauses, wobei ihre Bedeutung leider unbekannt bleibt. Es wird vermutet, dass es eine Art Sonnenuhr darstellt.

Erleben Sie die Baukultur hautnah! Die Ferienwohnung bietet Platz für bis zu sechs Personen.

Nos bâtiments historiques présentent d’innombrables particularités de la culture du bâti, comme cette œuvre murale difficile à attribuer, découverte au Château de Réchy à Réchy (VS). Une reproduction de la peinture murale se trouve dans l’appartement de vacances. Elle constitue un vestige des anciens habitants de la maison, bien que sa signification demeure malheureusement inconnue. La maison d’habitation a été construite au début du XVIᵉ siècle.

L’appartement de vacances peut accueillir jusqu’à 6 personnes.

Our historic buildings display countless architectural and cultural features, such as this wall art of uncertain origin that was discovered in the Château de Réchy in Réchy (VS). A depiction of the mural can be found in the holiday apartment. It is a remnant of the former residents of the house, although its meaning unfortunately remains unknown. The residential building was constructed in the early 16th century.

The holiday apartment can accommodate up to 6 guests.
