Danse Suisse warmly congratulates William Gyves of the Zurich Dance Academy (taZ) on winning the Prix de Lausanne 2026 🎉
The prestigious competition took place from 1–8 February 2026. Out of 444 applicants, 79 young dancers from 18 countries were selected to perform for the jury. With five students from its graduating class participating, taZ was strongly represented—highlighting the high standard of dance education in Switzerland. The Prix de Lausanne is internationally recognised as one of the most important stepping stones for a professional dance career.
