Connact is an association that promotes culture in and from conflict regions.

We are promoting culture in and from conflict regions and support mutual understanding between people from different cultures and contexts through cultural events and projects. Currently, we are working on the project BLACKBOX ERITREA?, earlier, we have brought the LAMPEDUSA Festival to Zurich, and our most important project so far was LES VOY A CONTAR LA HISTORIA, a project supporting the farmers community in Las Pavas, Sur de Bolivar, Colombia, who was displaced from its land three times in the last 10 years. They have been standing in for their rights peacefully, using their music as a powerful non-violent means for resistance. We recorded their music, documented their everyday life and their history in a documentary film and created audiovisual exhibitions about their history.
