After a meeting with the TC Daniel Kasuso where we’ve spoken about the next projects, we went straight to the airport to catch our flight to Lusaka where we were picked up by our friend Daniel who brought us to the lodge where we had the time to relax a bit. The next day Daniel brought us to THQ but first we had to go for change some Kwacha and we were able to purchase beautiful fabrics.
At THQ we met with the leaderships and had good communications. After a lunch offered by them we went to Lusaka City temple Corps which is in the neighborhood for a bandmasters workshop which was well attended by Salvation Army BAndmasters, Bandmasters from the Zambian Army as well as from the Zambian Police. Once again thanks for the hospitality and the perfect organization 👍🏼🫶🏼
After a delicious dinner and a relaxing night we now feel equipped for the journey to Chikankata 🙏

From Kwekwe we were picked up for the journey to Harare by mini bus. Unfortunately it wasn’t the bus we had the evening before which would have been big enough for us 8 with our luggage, the accompanying officer from Kwekwe and the driver…. instead they‘ve sent us a rather battered mini bus. We had no chance to load all the luggage and ourselves so we had to wait until the driver organised a trailer. Despite the condition of the car we made it smoothly to Harare. There was no time to relax we went straight to the THQ where we held another rehearsal with 3 bands. The men of our group were with the Zimbabwe Territorial Youth Band and the Zimbabwe Territorial Band whilst Monika had the pleasure to practice with the Territorial Ladies Band 🎼🎶
After the rehearsals we got tea and the best donuts we ever had 👌 thank you for that!
There was no time for a long rest, Major Foroma picked us up 8.15am to bring us to Seke National Citadel Corps where we attended in the sunday service alongside the Harare Eastern Divisional Band, different Songster groups and the Hosho and Timbrelists. Major Martin gave us an inspiring input about the living flame which should burn in us for Jesus.
In the afternoon the band masters of our group worked wiWiseman MachemedzeBand and Monika could have counted on the much appreciated support from Wiseman Machemedze for the repairinAddington Mutandadzi🙏
The Band sounded amazing and everything was perfectly organised by Addington Mutandadzi thanks for the amazing effort 💪🏼👍🏼
Back in the Lodge we had to pack again for our next destination Zambia.
A big THANK YOU for everyone who was involved in this great experience here in Zimbabwe 🫶🏼
We‘ll be back soon again 😊

After a very warm welcome in Benoni where we had 2 practice sessions with the South African Praise Band we spent some relaxing days in Kruger Park. The way back from there led us along a wonderful panoramic road past the Lisbon Falls, Berlin Fall, Potholes and the breathtaking view at the three Rondavels.
Back in Joburg we met again Basil and Mama Lina, which made our stay in Joburg perfect organised, thanks again! 🙏
A short flight brought us to Bulawayo where we visited two SwiZimAid project for boreholes in Nkulamane and a bit outside Bulawayo for the SwiZimTrust.
At 5pm we met with the divisional band at Bulawayo Citadel, thank you for the hospitality 🙏
Now we‘re prepairing for the road to Kwekwe and are looking forward for the band practice in Torwood 🎼🎶😊
