More great news, this time from Rwanda! 🇷🇼

We're excited to share how our latest donation is already making a difference. The Rugezi Ornithology Center is using 10 binoculars, 2 spotting scopes, 3 tripods and a monopod donated by Binoculars4charity to support bird conservation, citizen science and environmental education across Rwanda.

The equipment is helping with the Rwanda Waterbird Count, the Rwanda Bird Atlas Project, school and university birding clubs, and scientific surveys of wetlands and lakes threatened by agricultural expansion and pollution.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated binoculars and other optical equipment. Your generosity is helping conservationists around the world protect biodiversity and inspire the next generation.

Great to see our donations making an impact.

The Kosovo Ornithological Society (KOS) is using newly donated binoculars, spotting scopes and tripods in the field to monitor birds, protect key habitats and engage young conservationists.

One of their key sites is the Henci Wetland — Kosovo’s only legally protected wetland — where monitoring and conservation efforts are urgently needed.

We’re proud to support their work for birds, nature and future generations 🌿

🐦Binoculars making a difference in Cuba🇨🇺

We’re excited to share a new update from one of our supported projects! A donation of seven binoculars has successfully reached the Garrido’s Birdwatching Club in Baracoa, Cuba – after quite a journey from Europe via Havana.

The equipment is already in use: during a recent excursion with local children, the binoculars helped spark enthusiasm for birdwatching and offered a meaningful alternative to bird trapping. Seeing birds up close – their plumage, behaviour, and habitats – made a lasting impression on the young participants.

This inspiring initiative supports environmental education and conservation in one of Cuba’s most biodiverse regions, near Alejandro de Humboldt National Park (UNESCO World Heritage Site).

A big thank you to everyone who made this possible 💚

We are proud to support the Avian conservation Uganda society (ACUS) with the donation of 10 binoculars and a spotting scope. These tools will help strengthen birdwatching excursions, community awareness, youth education and bird monitoring across Uganda.

ACUS does inspiring work to protect Uganda’s rich birdlife and to engage young people and local communities in conservation efforts. We are grateful to be part of this journey.
