We are very proud to announce Deep Voices, a theatrical piece inspired by the diary of Farah Al-Ghoul from Gaza.

Farah was preparing tea and asking her mother to bring olives and Za’atar for breakfast when suddenly the world turned upside down, and her journey of forced displacement began. She sought refuge in writing her diary, hoping to convey what she felt—but reminding us that:

„There are things that are hard to describe, simply because only those who lived them can truly understand.“

In Deep Voices, this testimony is transformed artistically and expressively, giving it texture, color, and scent, placing the audience at the very heart of the experience.

📅 Dates: Thursday 15 & Friday 16 January 2026
⏰ Time: 20:00
📍 Location: Kulturmarkt, Zürich

Fawzy El Emrany is opening the doors of his atelier on Sunday, December 7th, 2025 for an intimate look at his latest works.

After years working with conceptual art and digital media, Fawzy returned to painting in 2016, embracing the slow, reflective process of large canvases. In October 2023, when the war in Gaza began, his work was silenced. Months later, his paintings returned — demanding to be seen, to speak, and to bear witness.

This open studio is a chance to experience his art firsthand, to engage with a voice that blends reflection, resistance, and presence in times that demand it.
